Blacktop All players

Anyone know how to unlock all players for Blacktop mode? For example I can't choose LeBron, Jordan, Bird or Magic, because they're locked.

I remember JaoSming uploaded a version of the final official roster with all the players unlocked: Blacktop Mode Players Unlocked

I don't know the actual method to reproduce it in other rosters, but it seems to be possible by editing the roster file.

It has to do with the ASA_ID number. Usually I would just change those star player's ASA_ID number with an unused player's number (free agent, euro, etc.). I think the roster that Jaosming did gave everyone the same ASA_ID number. The only problem with that is you'd have issues with the other modes, but of course that edited roster was just for Blacktop so it doesn't matter.

Ah, thanks for the info. That makes sense, and as you said, it only needs to be compatible with Blacktop.

Thanks guys, I analaysed Jao roster and he's using differents ASA_ID. His started with 20000 and end with 21664.
I don't get 2k logic. What were they thinking when they implemented such a weird option where you need to destroy your roster to use it fully in blacktop?

I found that you can dress up blacktop player in a suit, that's kinda funny.

I'm trying to remember if it's possible to unlock them manually (and presumably gradually) through in-game means. Otherwise, it was a weird decision to limit the players that could be used in Blacktop.
