Playing A Friend Online With Mods!?

Hey, so I tried playing my friend today with my mods on and it crashed the match. This was pretty much expected but I thought I would give it a try.

My question is if anybody knows if my friend and I have absolutely identical modded folders, will we be able to play each other online or would it still create issues? I’m theory I would think it should work but haven’t tried it as he’s newer to
Modding than me and I’m pretty new.

Please if anyone has this experience or knows of a way to use mode to play a friend online that would be great. I am mainly just using cyber faces and courts and lighting

Might consider “play together” through Steam. Only one of you needs it to be running, he’ll see what you see with all your mods. Only thing is there may be some delay because it’s streamed. I haven’t used it yet but it’s an option.

I always thought that it was possible to play online with mods. Only that the mods were only visible to you.

You can play online with mods. I use them for years for online league play. From my experience you should kick out all cyberfaces you downloaded. I don't know why, but these often times will cause network errors, even if they work perfectly fine offline.

If crashs still occur or if you want to keep cyberfaces, the only thing you could do is remove all mods and then add them back one by one, to find out which mod exactly is causing the crash.

Besides, it doesn't matter which mods your friend has. You are the only one seeig them. So it would work if you use mods and your friend doesn't even have the waigua folder.
