The worst thing u can do is repy to these emails...then they know your account is active and you'll start getting a ton more spam.

Wierd thing is, they are mainly MSN accounts and 1 gmail account.

I have a wierd feeling it's from someone on thi sboard who sent this because it's mainly NLSC users.

i can tell you one thing about beta emails. if you never signed up for a beta test then you didnt win it. secondly they never ask you to confirm, infact they usually ask you to not reply to the email as the entire thing is always automated. i highly doubt EA is living in the stoneage and still typing out each beta invite personally.

like many did in this thread, let me tell you guys its fake as hell!
many obvious reasons are stated here, plus all the emails that RuffRyder posted are in the profiles of users on this forum.
I bet someone will make a thread really soon saying it was a joke...
I know some people on these forums who are lame enough to do stuff like this.

Andrew might want to check the IP address, I thought there was this quick way to search through the IP's of all the users of the forum...

It's a fake I'm pretty sure. I e-mailed him back asking if he was for real and you know what he replied?

"Confirmation recieved.

Thank you"

If anyone was going to beta-test the demo, wouldn't it be say andrew and other NLSC team members?

And secondly, if we got a *request* (which don't occur often for betas), it would probably ask that we keep quiet about it.

Obviously a fake (for mine and all other reasons.)

sounds like somebody collected some email ads from this page and is messing with ppls minds cause EA has their own group of testers that can perform these beta tests if that was actually the case.

Man, whoever did this is messed up. Not funny at all, I'm just glad I didn't get the e-mail, I get scared easy and probably would have freaked out and thought my comp somehow got a virus.
