May i ask which roster?
I was looking at 1962...
Im not sure about 1962, it was some kind of converstion from Pat mod, i can be wrong but looks like Slimm forgot to update this (and 1970 roster). His speed is 60, do you think he should be much faster?
I remember reading that he was beating everyone in Philadelphia Warriors roster in full court sprint including Al Attles which is rated 99 in speed in this roster, so... You can say that this is one of those crazy Wilt Chamberlain stories that you must take with a pinch of salt, but is he really as slow as every other big man of that era?
I was reading crazy stories about Wilt and im not saying i dont believe in his sprint skills. My question is, was he able to do this all night long? Do we really want to see 7'1 full sprint guy?
He was averaging 43,2 minutes per all 82 games while he was 36 years old and in 61/62 season he averaged more minutes per game (48,5) then there are minutes in NBA game, so I doubt that he had any problems with stamina or if you believe that any other player could have done it, then why you think that he wasn't able to do it all night long...?
Because end of the road he was still human, right? We should also think about number of teams back then, and number of games right? Its hard to talk about 60s basketball because it was different sport, different rules. Put Wilt in current nba, do you think he can run every game? 82 games? His speed will rise in next update for sure but not much, probably around 70, we should take a wider view. Must talk with slimm about how new formula will work for Wilt.
