I'm guessing Gamespy was performing some maintenance on the dynamic server. I haven't been online the last couple of days so I wasn't aware of the problem.

It means that the board was down meaning no one was posting because they could not so it was dead.

it has just a tad more meaning to it....

a while ago while .org still was having bandwidth problems, people would call it www.nbadead.org, so yah....

um, when did i ever mention anything about dotorg being equal or better or worse than the nlsc?

i'm saying that's where the "dead" term comes from...


I know one thing i prefer about .org, you dont post as much there....

Like Repole said it was merely an allusion in which how people made fun of dotorg which seemed fine at that time.

Beast..no need for comments like that. I just wish the community would be about what it started out as...patching. All the extra drama kills it for me now.

I'm a little late in updating the main page as I haven't been online much the last couple of days (I've been feeling a little bit under the weather). I logged off a few hours before the email from GameSpy arrived, so I only found out the forum was back online this morning. In any event, the server is back up and apart from a few problems which should be ironed out, everything appears to be working. It should hopefully be back to full speed by next week.

Glad to see the forum back up. And has anyone else noticed a decrease in loading times? Maybe it's something to do with my internet connection but I dunno.. it loads up really fast now.
