Anniversary for Nick and Tales

Hey guys, a few weeks ago Tales and I both had some anniversaries. It's not every day something like this happens so we want to celebrate by giving some shoutouts. The occasions are Tales' 3 year anniversary at NLSC and it's my 2 year anniversary at the new NLSC. We would've posted this on the proper date but it took some organising, plus we had to be online at the same time, plus we're lazy. Anyways, here we go...

Jowe:
Jowe is probably the best internet buddy I have. Of all the people on my MSN list, i talk to Jowe the most. You should see the MSN archieves for his name. Anyways he's a true champ. We've got a fair bit in common so we've always got something to talk about. People think he's a grumpy fella, and i bet he likes to think he is too. But i know for a fact he is a nice little teddy bear inside. Everybody should PM him and ask for his jersey texture because he loves that.

Tales:
When i was a n00b and i first joined NLSC, Tales was among the first NLSC people i added to my list. And unlike most NLSC vets, he actually was friendly to me from the get go! He treats everybody as equals and is the nicest person you'll talk to on MSN. Tales has been a good friend ever since then and probably will be for a while longer.

David (LegoSHAQ):
David is an inspirational man. He probably wont read this since he doesn't visit this site, but meh. David does so much for the nbalive.org community, he's always trying to make it better for everybody else, he pays for stuff and spends a lot of his good time doing work he doesn't have to do and i respect that a lot. Apart from that he's a genuine decent bloke. I've actually briefly met him in real life as he did a huge favour for me and bought me tickets to an NBL game. Hope to see you at some more games this season

Andrew:
How can you not thank the webmaster of one of your favourite forums. Without you running NLSC Andrew... err... somebody else probably would... but alas.. your work is appriciated. Most people haven't seen Andrew's non-professional, silly and lame jokes side. I have on a few occasions and it's good to see. Women and Children, look the doors and windows! Count Beggsula is coming!!

Jae:
Sooo glad Jae came back to the NLSC forums when he did. You stirred the pot and made things more interesting and fun for me. When i first talked to you on MSN i was a little sketchy because i didn't know you, and with a community label of 'flame god' i figured you'd be an asshole. But he's tip top bloke and so easy yet fun to talk to. I felt like i've known Jae for years when we talk which is great. Tell me when you've chatted up your hot next door neighbours.

Stevan (aka Jessica ):
You suck the wang. Wait, not up to Frank Castle yet. Like Jae, i feel like i've known him for years when i talk to him... maybe it's an Aussie thing? Anyways, when he's not out racing his car around the streets and chatting up hot babes and taking over the world, he's on msn being a great bloke with a good sense of humour and i want his babies.

Matthew:

Ben:
... Just kidding Matty i wouldn't do that. Back to Matthew: Matt's a cunt. A real badass cunt who i hope does of cancer. Just kidding. But seriously, die of cancer, bitch. We pulled a mighty prank on Jae hehehe... that was fun. Matt, you rock.

Ben:
Fickled. Asshole. Grumpy. Unfriendly. Whatever you wanna call him, he's still the best nba live community asset out there. Apart from his random links, pointless stats and waiting 10 minutes for his replies on msn, I respect him.

Tony:
Haven't talked to Tony a huge amount on MSN, we never really hit it off like me and Stevan did, on that warm summer's night, in the barn, on the hay stack... ahhh... that was bliss.
Huh? Oh yeah. As jowe said in his thread, without Tony's patches my NBA Live would look a fair bit duller. (is that even a word?) So huzzah to him. He probably wont read this. meh.

Yohance:
ehh? Who's Yohance? Ohhh that guy... right... yeah, the mod. I remember him, he was cool. :P Hehe nah he's still around. In fact i talked to him last night. Longest convo i had with him in a while. I wont forget the LeBron James patch we made for NBA Live 2003. I made the face, he made the jersey. Hehe. Anyways, looks like god has answered most of our prayers for this year's game hey.

Cameron:
Another NLSC mod that i have patch history with. The best patch i ever made was made possible because of Cam's k-rad programming skillz. Remember that Cam? FCP by Barnsey and Qweet. The Fictional Cyberface Package. That was teh pwn. We should make that again for Live05.

Rens:
Rens has been begging to be my friend for ages. He always starts convos with me and everything. Nah, haven't talked to Rens a huge amount. But he's still a familiar person to me. I enjoy seeing him post. Oh, and i'll make your cyberface one of these days soon.

Shane:
Shane's a cool guy. One of the reeeal old NBA Live vets that's still left in the forum. Dunno what else to say, my brain's gone kinda dead. I know i've said this a lot already but i'll say it again. He's a cool guy who's fun to talk to on MSN. There. Although i wish he didn't set his status to Away 24/7.

Jackal:
One day we will alope.

Brave Sir Rubin:
Wish you were here. You haven't been the same.


Homer:
Has turned into a pretty good user. :) Doesn't act like a total tool anymore which is good. I think he's learned his lesson. Once in a while he'll show flashes of dickheadedness, but most of the time he's good.

Frank Castle:
You suck the wang. Where are your fans now?

Riot:
Decent new poster who i can see turning into an NLSC vet. Has the skills and potential, but does he have the work ethic? 10 million posts per day say yes. How he jacks up so many posts i don't know. But atleast it isn't Frank Castle-eque

Alright people, this past week marked my 3 year anniversary of posting in the NLSC.

For as much as I'd like to post all day, sometimes (and some weeks) I can't be around as much as I'd like. When I started to visit NLSC, back in 1998, I was in the middle of my high school life (good life, playing basketball all day long). When I started posting, back in 2001, I had already started my college life. Now, in 2004, I'm graduating at the end of the year, and soon to start a new degree in my life so far. Well, aside all that, I've been posting here, and it's been a good and funny ride. I've been able to learn a lot from you guys.

I would like to thank every meaningful person in this site and forum, but for this I'd have to spend 3 days here in the front of my computer, typing. So I'll leave it to you to know that I feel very grateful. You, yeah, I'm assured you know who you are.

Thanks a lot and long live NLSC!
