.model file isn't opening in CATIA

[NBA 2K Legend]

I found on internet that program CATIA can open .model files. I installed CATIA and when I tried to open .model file, it always can't read that file. Does anyone know why this file cannot be opened?

why not just use the blender plugin to import the models....
