NBA 2K19 : Retro Stuff

Time to release another retro scoreboard, the 1991-1992 NBC Scoreboard :

I'm not totally happy by the final result, but it seems that some people want to play with it.
Yes, it's a BIG scoreboard, because i wanted to reproduce the original one.

And sometimes, it hides, like the real one.
When ? When a team scores a 2pt.
When does it come back ? After a replay, after a timeout and at the beginning of a quarter.

Why teams names are only on 3 letters : because i cant success to hide the texts when using 4 or more letters.

You're a modder and want to know how does it work? Check the last lines of scorebug_opt.SCNE, AnimTracks's part.

In this pack, there's also a "NBA on NBC" Swipe, i've made the texture from scratch.

Hey Sticky how did you get your NBA on NBA theme music to still work? It use to work for me but now it doesn't. I love all your classic stuff as I grew up in the 80s watching. Keep it going I def support fully

I just dowloaded NBA on NBC theme on YouTube, edit with Audacity, and then follow Cujomatty's tutorial.

Sticky is a scoreboard legend. If you are interested in some unchartered territory, would you consider trying the 2002-2006 ESPN scoreboard?

At this point, for 2K19, i plan to finish and release what i posted here, but not start another from scratch.

Quickly work on it this morning, fix NBC external color, quarter font size, end of quarter size and position
everything seems OK for 2K19 release.

Working backwards, and 2002-2005 ESPN NBA is next? Wishful thinking. Its just never been done before.

sorry I am a newb and am wanting to use some of these scoreboard and presentation mods. I am using the 1991-93 classic seasons mod and by defualt it used the retro nbc scoreboard. How would I go about switching from nbc to tnt and vice versa for certain games? Any info is appreciated

with no hook like in 2K20, you have to use jsgme in background and activate the right scoreboard before each game (you dont need to exit the game)
it works fine with scoreboards (i make my scoreboard tests and debug this way)
But it doesnt work for wipe (you need to exit and restart the game).

Ok thank you for the info. I have never used jsgme. I think I found it in the nba 2k14 modding section.How does it work with the classics season mod?

Does 20's scoreboard mod even works for 19

I dont know for 2K20 to 19... but 2K19 scoreboards work in 2K20

If u can make some of your 20's to work in 19(especially 2005 ESPN, 1999 NBC & 1998 TNT), I'd be grateful
