NBA Live 96 HWC Added

Hello all!

If you're gonna kick it old school, then run with this updated version:
NBA Live 96 HWC (Sega Genesis)

I was researching some data for my NBA Live 20 HWC hack, and figured I go ahead and redo this one. This version should be much closer to what we all remember.

NOTE: Use the recommended "NBA Live 96 HWC (USA, Europe, Asia).md" ROM and then check out the MJ/CHI Big 3 front cover artwork I included. Enjoy!

Good stuff! I've done something similar for the PC version, though there are a few updates I still need to make.

One last update to this version, and it's an important because it adds the 50 greatest NBA Legends (as of 1996) via hidden player entries:

I even threw in some "extra" legend players (e.g. Adrian Dantley, Alex English, Artis Gilmore, etc.) since there was a little space. Check it out!

Cool! I had tried to add the patch to the 2020 version and I thought I did it correctly but the game wouldn't load up at all. Any tips for that?

In this case, I don't think you can take the 96 patch and apply it to the 2020 version.

However, one option is you could download the 96 editor, both versions of my game, extract the player data (via huge spreadsheets), and merge/replace what you want into the newer version.
