1. Bouncing Players
2. Speed cheating
3. Uncalled Fouls as the CPU's concept of defense
4. the broken pick and roll (in 2004 it sets you up smack into a double team)
5. CPU players either:
a. Sliding around the pick for your shooter
b. Trying to 2T your post player, you kick the ball to your open shooter for the 3 but the CPU player miraculous runs to him to "extend himself to force the miss"
c. Always 2T your post player
1. There are still dribble bumps but it sdoesn't frustrate this time around. when it happens you seem to understand that it's a case of a physical reaction rather than an annoying cheat. The animation istelf is also toned down, you won't lose control of your player for 3-5 seconds.
2. Speed Cheating has went the way of the dinosaur, thank God.
3. Uncalled fouls are still in the game but minimal. Adjusting the slider should help in that reagrd.
4. The pick and roll is better as a result of better floor spacing, you don't automatically get sucked into a wretched double team anymore.
5. a) Using the Lakers, Vlade and Grant have set some excellent picks for me. CPU sliding over the pick seems to have been alleviated.
b) That miraculous cpu recovery for 3 point shooters is gone and I'm happy for it. It now plays fair, if they get beat they get beat.
c) Gone also, the cpu won't automatically double team the post. Using Chris Mihm there were several occassions where they let the defender in the post handle him alone. I don't think he ever even drew a double team which was very realistic, the boy isn't Kevin McHale or Timothy Duncan...
