2019-2020 ESPN Scoreboard Logos

I'm trying to create team Logos on ESPN scoreboards, I don't know how to Import them in the game, so if a creator want to use them, just ask

And don't mind sharing games captures, just for me to see the logos, I don't have NBA League pass

Just wait for my cinema 4d logos bro, they aren’t gonna be exactly the same because I’m mainly making them to use for my own game, but if I want to share I probably will put them for sale as they actually take time and effort to make and not just put some bevel and emboss in photoshop.

Directly selling mods is against the rules here. You can request donations for your work but outright selling is banned.

I’m not selling a mod, I’m selling graphics, I’m selling the logos in c4d format and others and so on, not a 2k mod lol

I guess I fail to see a difference but perhaps a mod could elaborate. That would be like selling the texture to a faceXXXX.iff file. Like sure you aren’t selling the mod, but you’re selling the direct components that make it up.

You’re not selling the scoreboard but you’re selling the logos necessary to drop into said scoreboard. I guess the logos could be used for projects outside 2k but that still seems like a grey line. Andrew, is there a distinction?

A facexxxx.iff is literally a texture from 2k, the stuff I’m doing has NOTHING to do with 2k, they aren’t named logo025 or anything. This project is a submission for the espn graphics for next year, and me sharing two of the logos is already doing alot, and selling this graphics package in case it isn’t accepted by espn isn’t doing anything illegal either.

It’s not illegal but it likely breaks forum rules. If ESPN wants to buy your work that’s fine but charging people here isn’t really the way to go. The mods have been pretty clear about selling things on this site or even linking to places that it can be sold. I understand you’re not using 2k textures but why else would you be selling it to 2k gamers beyond their ability to use it in game? You even said you’re using it in your own game. I’m sure they’re time consuming to make, but so is a lot of the content here.

If you’re confident in your work, set up a Patreon and see if people will support it. But to just start blatantly charging for things here is a bad road to go down. You’re still using copyrighted material as a base, regardless of if it comes directly from 2k or is later added to the game.

I’m not charging anybody here, I’m not gonna be selling it here and link it anywhere here. If you find my work else where and want to get it go ahead. And who knows I might set up a Patreon or my own website like how micheal and other graphic designers have done. But I won’t be linking ANY of that on this forum, me on this forum would be strictly only free 2k mods.

Again, I’m not a mod so I may be completely off base, but still that’s great to hear man! Excited to see what you make. Keep the forum updated!
