the post Dre just made about picking the game over a date, makes me wonder, do any ladies appreciate the depth of NBA LIVE? Sure, some of them will say oh that's cool, when you show them the dunk contest once or the 3pt show once, but have no long term interest in it. Pretty soon it's 'now go spend money and time with me, not on game'. They won't do 82 games. They don't care about waiting for a message about a trade proposal or a free agent offer. It's not in their psychology I guess.

I don't think it's all bad to prefer game, I know a lot of guys have a notion that you are supposed to be crazy to go make babies, but it's not a sign of geek/nerd/wimp to prefer game sometimes. That's the stereotype, that you are less of a man to play a video game.

you have no idea how many girls play games do you? pick up a mmo sometime and look around, tons of girls play them(and i dont go by thier char sex either, we all know many guys make female chars). also games like the sims have brought many more womans into gaming.
