We don't have official notes on Patch 1.02 (which just went live today), but an increase in player speed and a buff to stamina has been confirmed.
According to Beluba, the speed increase was greater than desired/intended, so that's going to be addressed in a subsequent patch.
Patch 1.02 is currently out for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox One. Hopefully that'll be the case with most title updates this year, the PC getting it around the same time as the PS4 and X1. Seems like Switch users will still have it tough, though.

there was a lot of uproar against the speed increase and whether or not it affected offline sim. what's crazy is how quick mike caves to these twitch my park guys. the devs work all year on this game and end up getting swayed by some kids that barely know basketball three days after release.

I guess they do make up a large portion of the userbase now. The game is getting review bombed pretty hard, even worse than NBA 2K18.

Biggest IMHO 2K problem..
...too many patches...and Mike giving too much credit to MyPark, MyCareer users....
Just my 2 cents

I think there's been a generational shift as NBA 2K's audience has expanded.

I've added the patch notes and release information to the first post.
I checked and my name is showing up on my MyCAREER save where it went missing. I didn't have to create a new build (or perhaps the fact I'd already done so after the initial bug was sufficient), but it's worth a try if it's still not working for you. The tiles in the MyCAREER menu have also been updated with new artwork, though I'm noticing a delay moving through the menu. It usually sticks for a moment on The Neighborhood tab.
I haven't had a chance to play any games as yet and probably won't until tomorrow as I'll be out all afternoon and evening at a friend's wedding. I would've liked some more specifics in the notes in regards to the gameplay fixes, though.

Try restarting your Steam client if you haven't already. It's definitely out, so that should check for and start downloading the new update.

Don't know about the rest of you guys, but 2K20 is growing on me, by leaps and bounds. I really love the gameplay and other additions. I took me a few games, as I was complaining as well, but I'm starting to retract my earlier opinions. However, something is going on with the mods not showing up in game, post patch. I've downloaded numerous courts and jersey files, put them in the waigua folder and they aren't in game. Anyone else?

1.04 patch out now. "Various fixes."
57MB on Steam, consoles may be up to 125MB apparently depending on certain factors.
They also pushed another content update but it was only a few MB if that, the people on Twitter who are downloading multiple GB seem to be people who didn't get the last large one.

Looks like it fixes some hanging that was occurring in MyCAREER:

never pre-ordering this thing again

Any news when 1.05 will come out for PC?
I know it's out for xbox and ps4. Just anxious because someone said they fixed the ease of blow bys by guards, which was a game killer for me. Also, some myleague fixes were addressed according to some people that have the patch.
