Excuse? Well....none, actually. Once I get off work and handle my school work I'll fire up the XBox and get some practice before the fellas come over.

Hehehehe, they still think that the game is coming out in October so it gives me ample time to get a jump on learning the nuances and getting a feel. I'll also do some advanced scouting so I'll be more than prepared for the draft we have before we do our season.

I'm conniving and devious, I know. But hey, all's fair in love and war... And I love kicking ass in our NBA Live wars! There's alot at stake here, I'm a three-peat NBA champ and I'm not the least bit complacent, I'm trying to run off a championship streak that would make Red Auerbach give me props. I've taken to calling the game NBDre Live and I love how pissed off they get at my creative arrogance. No excuse needed, I simply have the innate need to dominate.

Yeah, all my friends are sports games fanatics like yours truly, especially basketball games. They really don't care whether it's Live, ESPN or some other franchise to tell you the truth as long as we can just play basketball and talk shit!

But EA Canada needs to hurry up and implement the create-a-team, I literally had to beg and plead to stop ESPN from getting the vote this year. They've always had C-A-T as well as a mode that keeps everyone's records and stats with their user profiles. In Live we have to do everything manually on a notebook and I guess they're getting tired of it.....

damn, skipping a day of school cause of a computer game? dont you think schooll is a lil bit more important than playing Live 05?

i barely have time to play videogames. especially NBA Live since i play 10 minute quarters which takes alotta time for only one game. i barely played Live 04 and its probably gonna be the same with Live 05. im lucky if i get to play one or two games a week. as much as id like to play it more often id never even consider skipping school as a choice. and i also prefer hanging out with friends, studying or doing sports to playing a computer game.

Then i will get the game all to myself for a while till my friends get up the guts to come get their a$$e$ whooped yet again........lol

I pretty muck know everything about the game the game there is to know so im not stressing about this whole "getting beat" deal. My friends have just now found out that it comes out soon in early september....i have been looking up this game since christmas.

my best friends live 10, 15, 25kms away from my house respectively and I'm @uni, another is doing other school stuff and the other 2 work full time.

I don't study, hahah, but that all changes once exams come and i fit in at least an hour of excercise a day

at night though when theres nothing to do (except weekends) I can play Live 05

i love live but i can't sit at home all weekend playin it. i think the only time i can play it is after school or before i go to bed.. or late friday/saturday nights when i come home.. i usually play 1 game, then have a break for a couple hours before i can start again otherwise i'd get bored easily
