Question about shorts

I was browsing a Chinese forum and I saw a mod there that has a Westbrook cyberface wearing shorter shorts than usual, how do you do this? Do you edit using blender or cheat engine? Thanks!

Ok I will take a look at him.....I'm 99% sure you can't have player specific shorts size other than short and long....but please share with me I will dig into it

In the HiHead.SCNE it is called "def_leftUpLeg" and "def_leftLeg" and "def_rightUpLeg" and "def_rightLeg" , edit the middle number in the translate section, (I went down -3 on both.) As you can see in my example, it does not edit the shorts length, but it stretches out the legs of the player.
Also in the appearance_info.RDAT edit the spine2.ty

This is the type of info that should be shared openly so that if any 2K artist or devs are in the forums they can see that these type of visual tweaks are what we want to see so that individual players appear to have differing looks/ body types.

Maybe 2k incorporates these typee of edits, maybe they don't. At the very least other modders or pc players can do it for themselves.

In playing around with this I found that just lowering the middle value of the def_leftleg not only gives a more realistic long leg look but also gives the long knee sleeve look. This was a great find

I haven't even been able to get the short and long option to work.

@coreyhonakermods that's a good idea as far as the short length for individual players. Are you just eyeballing it?

If you increase the def_leftupleg it will give the shorter shorts look. So for example if the value is like -4.70000005 if you increase it to -11.700000005 it will make the shorts shorter.

Its not a perfect "make shorts shorter" option, but its the only way ive gotten to somewhat work

The only thing that I've found that Changes that is "spine2.ty" inside the appearance_info.RDAT

Did you try in-game?

Becouse foot goes into the floor with your edits on .SCNE files....
