Completed the Wade and Dirk Moments Challenges on PC and PS4. Wade pack got me Mike Conley and Tobias Harris, respectively. 20 tokens came in handy on both platforms; picked up Amethyst Stephon Marbury on PC since I've unlocked that tier, and Ruby Isaiah Rider and Kenny Anderson on PS4, since I'm still working my way up there.

Antawn Jamison is getting a PD in the newest packs. Welcome back to the game!

Yep; he released today... super exciting. All the filthy casual are asking for the '12-'13 Lakers to be a Play Now team when we have Arenas, Butler, Haywood and Jamison.

Manute Bol also got an Amethyst with an 84 three-ball...

Michael Jordan packs are out now, which is what I've been waiting for. I've got VC saved up to try my luck with them, but I also managed to get some good deals in the Auction House on both PC and PS4:









92 Overall MJ is going for as little as 5000 MT on PS4, some very reasonable prices on the 95 Overall card as well.

Exhausted my stash of VC on a couple of MJ boxes, and some additional packs. Within the first box, I picked up a duplicate 92 Overall MJ, and the 98 Overall Pink Diamond!

Very nice. That's super impressive you were able to build good lineups on both platforms.

As for shared cards, I have Dirk, McHale, Ginobili, IT, Iverson, Kidd & Nance. An Amethyst Gerald Wallace was added to the token market and has been solid as a rock for me.

The only cards I currently have that aren't rewards are Diamonds of Kobe (new), LBJ and IT4, which costed me about 15, 10 and 5K respectively. Prolly gonna run LBJ at point to combat all the cheese and have IT as my super 6th man to replicate his early Boston days... one of my fav cards; super fun.

I've had some exceptional luck with Locker Codes and a few pack pulls. Getting a couple of MJs on both platforms has been very satisfying; the Pink Diamond in particular is a lot of fun!

If there was an affordable Jamison I would do it.

We have been seeing them add a lot of new historic players lately. Hope this means we may get some new classic teams next year.

Yep, those two are no-brainers and it's also nonsense that the '09-'10 Hawks aren't in there.

Agreed on the Hawks. The main core of that team is already in the game. Hope we get another big batch of classic teams for 2k20.

Yup; Horford, Teague, Joe Johnson, Bibby, Marvin Williams, Josh Smith, Pachulia and Jamal Crawford... that starting five core was around for so many seasons though just be stuck as a 4/5 seed and get bounced by the Celts in the second round.

Has anyone checked into this mode lately? It is an obscene disaster: auction house error messages, Opals and PDs on the house for under 1K but "Already bought out"... I'm not even gonna try entering the latest locker code for fear of an error. Mode is dumb anyway at this point of the game... what's the fun in every player being godlike?

It's a disaster. The game makes tons of money, yet the servers are a joke. 2K drags their feet addressing such issues, yet they'll send people in over the holidays to remove Pink Diamond cards that are accidentally made public through Locker Codes that were supposed to be limited use. I don't know why gamers keep giving them a pass.

Good point... I heard this all happened cause the game was on sale for like 2 bucks and they couldn't prepare for the amount of people who were going to buy it.

That's what I've heard too, and it makes sense. It's not a good look of course, though I've also seen it speculated that they're dragging their feet on fixing the Auction House because the Pack Market is still working, and packs can be bought for VC, and VC can be bought with real money. There's a certain amount of cynicism to that, but at the same time, it wouldn't surprise me. It wouldn't be the first time 2K has lacked goodwill in their recurrent revenue mechanics.

Auction House has been good to me since it started working again. Best Cards, 90s All-Stars, 80s All-Stars, and Dream Team minus Sir Charles.









Also managed to snag Galaxy Opal MJ on PC as well.

This is the point in the year where MT becomes absolutely unplayable for me; as if it wasn't unplayable because of the bugs, there are literally some Opals on the AH for below 6K (the search function is broken, so you have to scroll through)... it's just like what's the fun when every player is a god?

True. For me it's been about collecting some cool cards and playing the single player modes, but I imagine the market crash has played havoc with online balance.
