Controller Problem

Fri Apr 05, 2019 2:26 am

Hey everyone! I just bought 2k14 a couple days ago and wanted to try it out today. I plugged in my DualShock 4 controller (via USB) and I'm using DS4Windows. However, some inputs in game seem to be doubled, such as every time I hit an arrow key it presses twice, and the right trigger pauses the game. Does anyone know a fix to this?

I do not. I do know however that if you go into the top left hand corner of steam, you should find a drop down that shows controller configuration, there may be a conflict In there. Mess around with those options.

BUT, just some advice if you plan on using a controller for PC games. I use an XBOX One wireless controller, but you can use a wired xbox 360 or xbox one controller, and the game automatically detects it and it has no issues. Literally just plug and play. Depending on where you live, they have the xbox 360 rock candy controllers which are $20 or less. I have never had an issue using my XBOX One Wireless controller or Xbox 360 wired controllers on any games on PC that have a controller option, this includes games going back to NBA 2K10 and before.

I actually managed to fix it myself, turns out all I had to do was change my DS4 settings so that Windows doesn't automatically detect the controller (making inputs go through twice). Thanks for the help though :D
