Well, I'm still playing 2K17, this game has the best mods on this gen.
So, with some good tutorials, i'm modding now few things for 2K19 and also 2K17.

I love it. And abbreviations look better than fill team city's or names, because of the full names being squished.

BTW i didnt work on full names but i suppose i could get the same spacing.
the only problem is that each roster need to be edited with cheat engine if you want full team or city name. Easy but not friendly and not fast.

Preview #2 (texture adjustements, fonts and shadow + wipe) :

The shame is that there's only one font in italic, and it sucks with it (even if, at least, it works on 2K17...)

I could test for you. I think the full city names look the best for that CBS one.

The font doesn't both me as much as it does you, but I get the frustration

... and i'm not sure at all I can succeed, i'm not bongo, exrxixxx or ksmiz.
I'll try but cant promise anything.

If i cant achieve that, tricode can be replaced by editing the roster with cheat engine (what i did in preview #1).
So it's a roundabout way but it works at the end.

If you can't do full city names, I like both ways. Not a big deal at all.

Really cool. I want to change the refs looks for this mod as well. Possible get one in there that looks like Kenny Mauer and Dick Bavetta.

Fyi: Love the scoreboards, my only issue with the CBS and TNT ones is the sheer size of them. I wish they didn't extend so much (height wise). I understand that they were big in classic games, but they also faded in classic games, and in the video game we have to play so it makes it tougher.

In regards to comments etc, I expect almost ZERO in this section, so don't feel discouraged. If that bothers you, maybe move onto the 2K19 section, because while we have lurkers in this section, most people have moved onto the new game.

Hoping my classic teams roster will bring some people back to this game, but I'm not expecting big numbers in the least.

About the big scoreboards, i wanted to make a realistic thing
and unfortunately, i cant hide the scoreboard in 2K17 (neither in 2K18 too ... and big fonts cause issues on 2K19).

It's cool. If you could make them a little smaller, that would be great. If not, no worries, I'll still use them from time to time.

And yeah, I decided to just say "F it" and continue modding 2K17, as it's the game I enjoy most. My YT channel is somehow still going up in subscribers, even though I'm not posting Live 19 or 2K19.

If I was 10/15 years younger, I'd probably be trying to post more on YT. But I'm not out to impress anybody, or post content I'm not passionate about. I just want to keep it real and enjoy what I play and post.

If you plan on releasing those ref uniforms, that would be great, I'd love to include them in my mod. Obviously with credit to you.

Classic Referee Jersey for NBA 2K17

i've made the texture a little bit darker, fix the sleeves and try to remove adidas logo from the bump mapping files (not perfect by far but enough for me).



and of course you can use it in your mod (my scoreboards too) as long as you respect the disclaimer (i'm sure you will )
