NBA Live 19 All-Star Edition & Latest Content Update

EA Sports have released an All-Star Edition of NBA Live 19. It features various bonuses including All-Star themed clothing for your One Player and new Court Battles players, as well as a new cover featuring Joel Embiid and James Harden. Harden was previously featured as the cover player for NBA Live 18.

However, this doesn't mean that owners of The One Edition are left out in the cold. If you fire up the game before March 22nd, you'll be able to pick up the All-Star content as well. Additionally, if you enter Ultimate Team, you'll be gifted with five All-Star promo cards for James Harden, Stephen Curry, Joel Embiid, LeBron James, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

A new content update has also come through for NBA Live 19. In addition to updated rosters and a couple of bug fixes, it also adds double XP for The One, Court Battles, and LIVE Events. It requires a restart of the game to take effect, but it will last through the rest of the week, in celebration of the 2019 All-Star Weekend.

Got both giveaways, and it's really cool to see the old 90s all star jerseys in the game. I also got the ultimate team cards, but unfortunately the 80 overall cards don't crack my starting lineup

Definitely great to see them. And yeah, I'd have expected the cards to be rated a little higher.

I'm on PS4 in the US so I got them both for free

o I'm a European, and I need to pay dearly. Pity

They said that if you own the game you don't need to buy the extra content. All you have to do is log in.

"If you already own the game, you do not need to buy the All-Star Edition to get the additional content that is listed below. All you need to do is sign into the game by March 22, in order to access the crate."

Yeah, there's some stuff that was available through LIVE Events (though everyone could participate in them while they were active, obviously), but there were some crates that were automatically delivered.

The game prices are weird through the PlayStation store, apart from the odd reduction on games in the sale they shoot back up to beyond retail Value for example the full game of Live 19 costs £59.99 UK

Yeah, quite often digital releases don't work out to be any cheaper here in Australia either.
