There are emulators out there for vintage games. The most recent emulator is Dreamcast, which I don't have, but I have the NES, SNES, Genesis, Neo Geo, N64, and PS1 emulators all on my PC whenever I get the vintage itch.

So I have:

Lakers Vs Celtics (Genesis)
NBA Live 95 (Genesis)
Live 96-97 (PS1)
Live 97-2000 (PC)
Live 2004 (PS2 and PC)

I trashed 2001 and 2002 for PS2 (2001 for PC as well), and didn't even bother getting 2003 for any system.

Smart, but I know that I'd need a basketball title in the mean time while I'm waiting....... But you're a GTA gamer right? So I guess that can more than keep you busy....

if you return your games to eb, how much are they worth?

i plan on returning: live 2004 (no point in keeping it when 2005 probably has the exact stuff and more ), madden 2004, gta, tomb raider, etc.

They're still in my collection, on occasions I've pulled them out again for a quick game. They're also a source of info for old season roster patches, so even if I don't play them I have them installed for easy access to the data files.

when i first bought live 2004 i bought it for the console. i traded that one in along time ago and when i did i got 30-35$ for it. about a month later i wanted to play again so i went back to eb and bought the pc version, which at the time was only 20 bucks. lol so it worked out nicely for me. anyway the closer you get to the next version releasing the less you will probably get. if they still sell a game for 50 bucks you could get 25-35 for it.

I;m not sure if this is legal.....buy i download a crack for Live so that I can play it w/o the CD. My CD is sitting nicely in the box w/o a scratch. I don't lend it to anyone and I don't plan on selling it.

Btw, I buy the original Live I don't download it or borrow from ppl

if you own the cd and dont lend it to anyone its legal. all they want is the money for thier game, and imo if a game is good people should pay for it. i wont sit here and say i never dl a game, cause i do, but if i really like the game i go out and buy it even though i already have it on my pc. good games deserve the money imo.
