Cannot change AA quality

ever since I switched to GTX 1060 6GB, my AA is stuck at level 8 and AA qulity is at 0 and greyed out, I cannot change it
is this something normal when it comes to NVIDIA cards or I am doing something wrong, I know I was able to change it on my AMD graphics card

I have this same issue with my 1060 6GB as well.
