2k14 is AMAZING again!!!

Ok I just started playing this game again. And now I cant stop playing it. I guess because im a old school player, but even with the new teams I love it better than 2k19. This is insane. I cant believe that all week so far I have been playing 2k14 religiously. Its amazing. The graphics on the models look better to me for some reason. 2k14 last game to have mike Jordan look like mike Jordan. Its a shame how 2k19 cant get Jordan or any other past players to look like themselves......

So now im back here searching for more mods of players cyberfaces. And its so fun

glad you are having fun again. the replay value is ridiculous thanks to the talented modders we have not just on this forum but all across the world. I suspect until there are significant rule changes or expansion in the nba 2k14 will live on for A LONG TIME

Yeah there is something about having accurate player models along with a decent core gameplay engine that makes this game special. Sure there are some weird glitches in this game, but its not that bad. Each game I play with each team I see something different happen each time. I think 2k used more signature animations during this time and to me it gives each player their own identity. I love Lebrons shot better here. Jordans fade seems more crispy. I love the way the ball drops in the hoop. The freedom of how easy it is to install these Mods.


To get mods all I do is goggle search. And they all pop up and are ready to download. Scary how I purchased this game from steam a little while back, and now the game is not showing in the store anymore. So glad I purchased it on time and not wait.

Compare number of topics and threads here on NLSC. 2K14 have more than 2k15+2k16+2k17+2k18+2k19 together. Next gen amazed me in close ups, players looks really good, skin texture looks great but for me gameplay and possibility of modding are most important aspects and 2k14 or 2k13 still looks great especially with mods. But Imo 2k14 and all old gen bball games will die together with new 2k engine (2k20? 2k21?). Rules changed already, what it NBA will add new team(s).

ofc there is a lot of "if" but if 2k wont fix gameplay in next gen imo lost of users will choose Live edition over 2k and over old 2k games. Look at old EA Live editions ( 06-08 ). Died right after 2k9 was released.
