Court Battles Thread

Since I didn't see a thread dedicated to Court Battles, I figured that I would create one. Feel free to share what lineups you're running, and what players you've recently acquired.

I'm currently level 21 in hype, and my defense lineup is:
PG: John Wall (89 OVR)
SG: Jimmy Butler
SF: Nneka Ogwumike
PF: Larry Bird
C: Joel Embiid (88 OVR)

And tip my hand? Never! (Actually, I'll have to double-check.)

Played a bit of it the other night to get my Hype up, took a few courts. It's definitely a fun concept, not quite as appealing to me as the franchise, team building, or even career experiences, but I can see myself spending more time with it all the same.

I was playing it consistently, then the CPU became cheat so I stopped for a bit!!

I stopped at level 18 because it would take too many games to get to 19 & 20

Since each update also changes the store, be on the lookout for limited time only players.

I picked up Gary Payton and was disappointed that he's wearing a Thunder hoodie lol

Got to Tier 3, just waiting for the latest campaign to end so that I can get the guaranteed reward. Also at Hype Level 6 now, so I was able to get the Bulls ball and logo. Next step is Level 10 and the Hardwood Classics collection.

Kinda got back into this as an alternative to ultimate team. For some reason when I got Payton earlier, the next time I logged in he wasn't on my team and the money was refunded. I was mad. But then I noticed he was a reward for 5 courts at my level 18 so I worked on getting him. I had leveled up to 19 by the time I got him and figured I was kinda close to 20 and I finally made it to level 20, which gives you a trophy.

Major shout-out to zzcoolj because he's the only one on my friends list who has half court make it take it which allows for finishing games quickly. I think I've played his team over 20 times now lol

My defensive team is pretty solid now. I run Meet me at the rim (blocks and dunks game) requiring two WNBA players since dunks is out of the question for them and I got a huge lineup of Mutombo, Shaq, AD, Pippen, and Lebron

I forget what my defensive team and settings are. I had a competitive game against X's squad a while back; he beat me at the buzzer, which was rather infuriating!
