Short shorts bytes works...
Here I assigned Micheal, Hornaceck and Stockton...short shorts....not sure IF it also works for Nike jersey but seems to work for retro/classic one

EDIT: seems like not all of the retro jersey support this.....just some

Hello all,
I'm just starting to familiarize myself with 2k18 and 2k19. While reading these posts it seems that we aren't to far off from a roster editor, much like REd_MC, is this correct? Also, would this be the table to use in conjunction with CE to make the hidden players visible in game rosters or is that another program? What i mean by that is there a way to make them active with their attributes given in the base roster by just changing a value (Like on RED_MC and the is Free agent check box)? Thanks for your help in helping me understand

could you explain a little more about cutom shorts?
I mean seems like to have two different type of shorts you must provide two texture sets,,,,,of course not all of teh jersey have them but for example 1996 Utah have them:

That means that we can have player wearing long or small shorts

Nice! I don't think I actually checked that one but it was probably wedged between 2 other things I already found so it had to be right around there
Maybe if the shorts are retro then it will work but if they are classic or nike it won't change anything idk
It seems some options are still overwritten at some other points in the game whether these things are conditional checks or straight up overwrites idk

I think the actual jersey file might be more important than what it says in the jerseydata
Maybe this specific custom shorts entry is conditional on whether or not it is a custom user created jersey or something like that
I haven't looked into the jersey files yet this year but maybe if we can get modded shorts in we can have varying lengths possibily for more teams
Is there anything interesting in that rdat file?

maumau I explained how shorts work on your modding thread here:
viewtopic.php?f=241&t=106107#p1948441Not all uniforms support shorter shorts. If you go into the uniforms files, it's the uniforms with two sets of short textures. "shorts_color" and "shorts_classic_color" or something like that.

This is 72 Boston uniform file and It support 2 lenght; dafault is RETRO and also support CLASSIC shorts.....

A quick update...it works great where jersey support both type of shorts....but unfortunately i can not turn anyjersey to support both types of short...maybe It's a byte in the roster jersey table...idk
Anyway ksmiz find is great becouse allow us for example to use Short Shorts on Stockton and Hornackeck

Sorry but where did you explain about change any jersey to support both long and short "shorts"?
Becouse It's what I've done...

Ok but above I've explained how to convert a jersey without 2 shorts to a new one that support 2....this is not in your tutorial....am I wrong?

Oh sorry I must have misunderstood what you're talking about.
I'm just talking about the fact that throwback uniforms use two sets of shorts, which you ignored until that post/tutorial but you seem like you have it down now so it doesn't matter.

maumau, when you add the second texture to the nike shorts you will probably need to create a new name for the texture file (also update the file name inside of the corresponding .TXTR file).
This should avoid any conflict with the jersey originally had the second texture shorts.
I hope what I am saying is clear

Using Maumau's instructions I got the different short types to work also.
Jersey creators should now begin incorporating 2 texture shorts when creating jersey mods

Ok so I understood how to create the second shorts inside the jersey file but how do u assign which short length to what player you want to have long or short shorts?

Can someone explain, from start to finish, how to edit players in MyLeague?
I have the cheat tables downloaded from the download area.
Then what? I double click the one that shows teams only. It opens in 6.7, what I have installed. But all the info is blank. It has "Team Name 1", "Team Name 2", etc., but none of the actual info like the team name.
What am I missing?

Are there any ways to bypass SYNC.bin without going offline and getting rid of it?
Right now the Hornets/Spurs and Warriors' font tweak files are all being overwritten by it already as well as a bunch of other stuff. I could always just use a different uniform file but it's just a nuisance.
Maybe a simpler solution would be to change what the tweak file a team/jersey uses through editing a roster, if so how do I go about doing it?

Some more work in progress edit player stuff
If it is in red then it probably doesn't work and might not do anything yet just put some things in to find later


Found shoulder tape but it resets all the time and frequency is probably set to rarely plus couldn't find it either
