It looks as though the NBA Live development team will be posting breakdowns of the content and roster updates over on Reddit. Figured we can keep track of them here, separate to the title updates (these are the ones that are pushed through in-game).

Wow, sounds like they out in a ton of new commentary. Haven't played in like a week so I'll have to check it out

I love the updates, but i feel like Ultimate Team gets no love....would love to see some madden like collections

LUT and Franchise are definitely on the backburner, unfortunately.

yeah, i really hope we get a collections update (Massive Update). got the game with the expectation of the Madden experience. But The one as a game mode i have no complaints, i just love having a purpose for the cards if collected. An rewards are the best.

Additional patch notes from today's update

Can confirm that the hand-off exploit has been removed. I am a bit worried about the shot penalty update though. That's what made big men nearly useless scoring inside in 18, and the only way to make a jumpshot was if you were wide open.

So EA are calling the latest update a title update, but the version is still 1.05, and it came through in-game, so I might stick the details in this topic. Bug Fixes

• Teams appearing with incorrect records/standings (online H2H) are now fixed
• Home/Away jersey color sorting – only white and grey tops will appear on the home side
• Various create-a-player clothing item sorting issues fixed
• New brands added to create-a-player sorting option
• Gears conflicts added: cannot equip long socks with calf pads, jeans, or joggers; cannot equip joggers or jeans with ankle braces
• NBA Combine game ratings fixed – now reflecting tip-off ratings

Transactions

• Dwyane Wade (MIA), DeAnthony Melton (PHO), Thomas Welsh (DEN) added to their respective teams after recent transactions
• Emeka Okafor (FA) and Brandon McCoy (FA) added to Free Agent pool after being waived
• Thomas Robinson (ATL), Damion Lee (GSW), and Shaquille Harrison (PHO) added to the game

Player Likeness

• WNBA ratings updates (boosts to top playoff performers)
• Multiple NBA players saw their jersey numbers changed to reflect recent transactions and changes
• Shoes and gear have been updated for a number of players

Gameplay Tuning

• Gameplay tuning for stepback/one-on-one Anklebreakers
• Gameplay tuning for various shooting Traits

Played last night and I don't know if it was the patch update or if it was my changes to the sliders, but I had a bit more fun than I had been having. Grinding court battles for more players, I wound up getting CJ McCollum who is the best 3 point shooter at 87 so he has proven to be very useful. Randle has been a beast inside for me. Loving the half court games, as I can blow through those quicker.

Also played some live events for the jerseys they have in the store. I figured that would allow me to spend the points on other stuff. Live events weren't as fun earlier in the week when they were doing one at a time but looks like they got a bunch lined up now. I think you get 10000 RP for repeating events so that would be a good grind if you need more

I did play LUT for a bit and it was a little better. I did manage to not lose in those easy season challenges lol. It's so embarrassing I already have 3 losses

No extended release notes for the October 2nd content update, but a basic overview (via the in-game update screen):

• Updated Rosters
• Updated Live Events data
• Various bug fixes

Played some court battles earlier, feels like they tuned shot contest so more CPU contested jumpers are going in. Of course still no shot at green for the user.

I can still get a fair amount of contested shots with guys like Durant on hard (all-star) difficulty.
