Cheat Engine Question(s)

Is there a tutorial (video or written) on how to use Cheat Engine?

I downloaded it (the one for the roster editing) but just cant seem to get it to work plus Im really a beginner at this modding thing.

Basically I just want to edit the rosters (change jersey numbers, draft yr, headband,etc...)

Also, can we edit player stats and Myleague stats (current & past records, awards, milestones,etc..) with cheat engine?
