@ksmiz did you already try this path? Just to be sure...

Yeah already did this and compared to 2k19.

On 2k18 with scx change player type to something then back to whatever you had it at. You will see the bytes aren't even the same as before. The bytes aren't the same every time for each type. I couldn't make sense of it.

What exactly did you want to see with the raptors jersey?

I will look and I've write to SCX about those bytes....I'm sure we can find a solution (Y)

Let's say I want to edit Raptors current jersey....what are the correct step to get into CE Table?

I mean once I found Raptors team....what are next steps?

Thanks in advance

EDIT: I think I got for Jersey (Y)

i just tried to search for the string that is needed, but i cant find the right one. So i think they might have rolled out a patch to fix roster editing with CE. or does it still work for you guys?

I think I got them all corrected when I upload the next table update. Added all those animations names and found all the names and order in the exe so I think I got the hidden ones too

Ksmiz,

Have you found the Assistant Coaches yet? I’m wanting to change some of the generic assistants into real assistants with CF’s.

Would you be able to show how to do this if at all possible?

Great CE ever, i managed to do many things with this CE :D Thanks so much for your work, ksmiz. Can we clone MC player to a created player or other player in order to get face scan work in other mode mate?

To clone a player I do those step:

- Open Source Player
- Scroll down to "Clone Player Full Array of Bytes"
- Double Click
- Copy Values
- Deselect everything in CE
- Open Dest Player (Fictional or Created)
- Scroll down to "Clone Player Full Array of Bytes"
- Double Click
- Paste Values

..correct?

It’s easier using dna player option no?

Just I saying to clonate players I use DNA option, available this year in NBA 2K19. In the editor, when you enter in a player, you can export all about him, attributes, appearance, stats, etc. And then to import that to a new player.

So once export i import over a created player? If Yes the PA Will call him with nickname...

EDIT: I just realized how it works....looks terrific (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y)

So I suppose that If I import over an historic player I just get what I want.....clone player without any problem with PA or Commentators....

Re: Roster Editing [CE]

the clone player option should be used for MC player i guess. just like last year, we can copy DNA player from MC roster to any custom roster, so we can play MC with facescan in any mode.

@Shuajota

Let say I want to add some retro player (Reggie MIller for ex.)....is the below steps applicable?

1. Go to 1987 Draft Class
2. Edit a Fictional Player to R.MIller
3. Export DNA as R.MIller
4. Go to my Retro Cutom Roster
5. Edit some Fictional Player and Import DNA of R.MIller
6. Move Miller to Retro Pacers Team

I know for sure It works...but will also prevent PA and Commentators from using stupid Nickname like "ABC" and so on?
I guess yes becouse we're not using created player...also we can use fictional CF slot from draft class player for our added players....

Thanks in advance

Yes, I do that.
For Reggie Miller you can do this:
1. Create a fake player with the internal editor.
2. Add him to your retro roster, for example to Indiana Pacers Retro Team
3. Edit the player. Import a Regie Miller from DNA option created by the community. They made some Miller(s) there.
4. Select Import all appearance, attributes, etc.
5. Now with Limnono you can add him a CF ID.
6. Save the roster and ready to play!

*I haven´t tried that with the commentators, but I think you could delete it with CE. Anyways if the surname is there, they mention him in the correct way.

ksmiz wrote:I found the pointer for edit player like last year where you pull up the player you want to edit in the game then switch to cheat engine and the info will be loaded

This will likely only work right away for the first exe version of the game

For any new updates you will have to follow these steps below to update the pointer:

I put together screenshots on steps to find this pointer

1. Bring up a player in edit player and change last name to something unique in this example "YYYzzz" then just ok the last name but don't do anything else just leave it don't save changes to the player or anything else just stop go to cheat engine and search that string
[ Image ]

2.You found 1 great. Double click that down then right click and "Pointer scan for this address"
[ Image ]

3.Whatever the default settings are fine just click ok
[ Image ]

4.Name your file whatever you want then sit back and wait this may take a while
[ Image ]

5.I got a ton of results
[ Image ]

6.Click on Offset 0 to sort and find one of those two results that only have that single offset column just to make it easier
[ Image ]

7.Double click that result and it will pop it down to the table
[ Image ]

8.There is your pointer just paste it over to the edit player part of the table
[ Image ]

9.Make sure your address is a pointer and you made it look the same
[ Image ]

10.Go ahead and expand the rest by clicking that box
[ Image ]

11.Anybody you bring up in the game will now be filled in. Make your edits on CE and then go back to the game and save your changes when you back out of the player.
[ Image ]

I tried to get the pointer work with the lastest update but in step 6 i found 98k results and i cant find the results with single offset like you did. Can you give me some tips?
