We've consolidated all modding discussion into one central section for each game. The old approach of using separate sections for requests, help, and releases and previews had become outdated, resulting in unused sections where posts often went unanswered, or the section was ignored entirely in favour of posting off-topic in the most popular section (generally Releases & Previews). The more recent approach of separating modding help and requests into the main section was ambiguous and confusing, so we're going with central, consolidated modding sections from here on out.

What's welcome in this section?

• Mod releases
• Mod previews
• Mod requests
• Assistance with modding (questions, requests for help, etc)
• Development of modding tools and techniques
• Anything else to do with modding NBA 2K19!

What doesn't belong here?

• Gameplay discussion
• Story threads (we have a section for that)
• Wishlist ideas (unless it's modding related)
• News or previews
• Site-related issues (that's what the NLSC Hub is for)
• Anything else that isn't related to modding!

Yes, this section. Not this topic specifically.

If you've got a request, feel free to create a new topic. Popping [REQUEST] in the title definitely isn't a bad idea as it'll immediately let everyone know what it's about, and hopefully catch the attention of someone who is willing and able to give it a shot. At the moment we don't have a dedicated requests topic where people can post their requests and modders can browse it, but that's something we might try this year.

Place the external plugin in your main NBA 2K19 directory, and place your mods in the modded folder. For jerseys/cloths etc we usually have a clothing folder etc, but that will come in time.

But for installing cyberfaces, courts, stadiums, golabls, etc... place your mods in the modded folder.
