Create your 'Dunk Package'

Now dunk contest has been introduced..
its time for EA to Let us Create our own dunk package for the players using simmilar program as dunk contest.

When i'm on the fast break, i'd like to see kobe, jame, carter, and martin to do different type of dunks. i'm sure ya'll notice in '04, same ol throw down...

Should this be in '06 wish list?

I want to hear what others think, could this make game play more fun cuz you will be seeing different players dunk that you created by simmilar progam as dunk contest. Jordan could be doing his stuff on the fast break and james would be doing his two had reverse, and T.mac's off the glass is possible during real game play.

let's have EA consider this.

Are you saying in 05 Tmac can do an off the glass? Because he can't, you can only do that in frosh soft game.

No. That's not what he's saying. He's asking whether or not we think it would be cool if player's had specific dunks. And yeah, I think it would be a great addition. This would increase the happy feeling you got if you aquired a high profile player like Kobe or Tmac. That being said, I don't see this addition to Live anytime soon.

I think now 'dunk contest' has be introduced, i dont see why EA doesn have programming code to work on it. it could be Just one of the additions for next Live serise. honestly, i cant even play dynasty anymore cuz i see the same dunk again again again feels like de javu when im faded.

I don't like the fact that there are too many dunks, at least in 2004. Do you really dunk 10 times in one game with a single player? C'mon. The number of dunks should be reduced. Yea, having a variety of dunks is cool, but all it's going to do is probably make EA increase the number of dunks...since you'd want to see all the dunks..I never played NBA live because of dunking. Too much dunking is unrealistic. Implementing the throw off the glass thing? Man, that is WRONG. It might be fun in an all star game, but in a real game? It's not right. Those stuff do not happen in a real game.
I like NBA Street, but that's because I know it's not supposed to be an NBA SIM, but a more arcade game. If you want off the class shots in normal exhibition games, play nba street.

i see your point.. i wasnt meaning it to be like nba street. i know its a sim game. i know it was easy to dunk in 04 so i reduced dunk ratings and lower the game speed. OK, just say you are playing dynasty.. you get about 2 or 3 fast breat per game right? wouldnt you want to see different (meaning that dunks that fits to the player.) dunks? in 04, all the players with high dunk ratings dunked the same ones over and over... like in ALL STAR games. i'm NOT asking EA to make a game where you can dunk all day.

i mean, you dont want your pf/sf/sg to jump the same, dunk the same ones, and dunks another one same.. like in 04.

maybe next year live will have more option for your own each team players edit mode. i simply want to see steve fransis dunks different from jordan or carter.

You can't do it in a real game. Only in the All-Star game and Rookie Sophmore Game.

Tmac did it 3 times in a season in traffic. i'm not saying we should be able to make all players to dunk whatever we want. some players with high dunk rating like; james, carter, tmac, shaq, and etc. Of course make it so that you CANNOT do crazy dunks in traffic. only in fast breaks or open lane.

you just not seeing the big picture. you just trying to find what's wrong with it but you Could've said samthing about dunk contest last year.

Maybe...they could have an In Game Meter...like when Player is HOT something on the bottom left screen tells you to press a specificbutton and he'll throw it down real ugly.

good idea. more animation the real it gets. just adding few animation this year made the game play pretty sweet. remember, they can always add animation... its endless

Yeah they need to add more collision animations so the defender hugs offenders legs as he gets dunked on.

Well, if you do want realism, then play realistically. I kind of forgot that no one is forcing you to do all those crazy dunks in traffic. A game is only as good as the person playing it.
