RX480 and NBA2k14 UBR doesn’t go higher than 23fps.

As my title goes.

I’m able to play NBA2k17 and NBA2k18 in high and ultra settings with consistent 60fps on 1080p and cut scenes on 30fps with shade, fx and other mods. But for some weird reason, nba2k14 doesn’t go higher than 20-24fps during gameplay for me. I am using the UBR mod, my first time actually playing nba 2k14 on PC.

Any help?

Also note, I’ve actually lowered settings... lowered player detail and crowd etc but still same result.

I have an rx480, and I run it at 60fps.

I have a solution for you.

Go and download radeonpro, just type radeonpro in google. Once downloaded, open the program and add the NBA 2K14.exe from the main folder as a profile. Set the fps to 60, and vsync to dynamic.

All your older basketball games will run at smooth 60 fps with that program.

Also, fyi - no need to lower details in game, it's not because your CPU can't handle it. You should be good to go with radeonpro.

Try to disable your network card.

Thank you guys. So I basically reinstalled NBA 2k1k and it worked at 60fps... I can’t explain it
