Thanks for the tutorial.
I will be spending my free time starting to get back in to modding and practicing. I've been taken a needed break but also been extremely busy.
I watched some of the part 2 video, it is looking really helpful. I honestly didn't know exactly what I was doing with conversions. I just knew sometimes I got it to work and sometimes I didn't.

Thanks a bunch for this i converted a marshon brooks onto the png of deshawn stevenson but he's got the deshawn stevenson tattoos. Any idea on how to convert the tattoos or is it not possible?

Make sure that you copy in the chest .dds file and .TXTR files form Marshon Brooks' 2K17 png.iff archive, replacing Deshawn Stevenson's. Other than that there is nothing else to do as far as converting the tattoos.

I already tried that but he won't show up on the player edit screen. So i guess it's not possible.

I got another problem, it's with the face color of the converted player i converted johnny flynn into 2k18 brandon bass but his face is super green. Is there a way to modify the face color of the player? I tried darkening the face color dds file but the green tint will still be there. I'm not exactly sure if it's green im seeing but the face color is a bit off.

It’s definitely possible but it could be a number of things that are causing it

If it’s a specific area of the face editing the dds texture would be the way to go. Sounds like you made some large scale changes so now you need to zero in on that area. Do you have photoshop? If so, try a color balance adjustment layer and focus in on the slider for magenta (pink) & green. Bring it more towards the magenta side. You can also sample a color and use a brush with lower opacity and paint over those areas In a different blending mode such as color, hue, etc. If you don’t have photoshop and are using paint.net or gimp, you could try something similar.

If the problem persists, you could send it to me and I can take a look at that as well as the tattoos when I get home.
