This was a heavily requested feature from the community for several years now.
Do you guys have any thoughts on the Private Match Making system in NBA2K19?

This may be good for people on PC if we can get a few teams together.
We could form an NLSC league.
On another note this could be a way for people to escape hackers on PC and just play against people they know and trust.
I didn't hear Ronnie say anything about private matches getting rep and VC, but hopefully those things are there.

It's definitely a great addition for 2K Pro-Am. Like any online mode, getting matched up with randoms doesn't always result in the best experience, as you'll always run into your fair share of poor sports, cheesers, hackers, and so on. Even if you're generally lucky in that regard, there are times you might want to be able to directly challenge another squad. As such, this is welcome news on both counts.

Is anyone on PC willing to try the feature out?
We would likely need two teams of 5 to try it out.

I'm double-dipping with PC and PS4 again, so I can probably help try it out, depending on time difference and whatnot.

The private matchmaking could be a big deal on PC. This could show 2K that the PC players want to be considered in the competitive scene also.
The PC is the official platform of the 2K League after all.
I honestly do not think the NBA 2K PC community is cohesive enough overall to sway 2K into taking PC serious outside of mods.
I've seen alot of people echoing that hackers and small user base is the problem. Well the private matchmaking changes things in my opinion, now the onus is on us PC players to organize and demonstrate that this platform has legit competitors also.
Aside from the competitive aspect, it would be great to have a budding interactive community on PC even if it is just friendly competition.

At the very least, it offers a fun alternative on all platforms. As I said, playing against random opponents in ranked games can be fun, but it can also be tiresome because some people like to spoil a good thing in the name of bragging about winning at a video game.
