Association Story for 2K11?

So the Association/Dynasty Stories thread was featured at the main page after quite a while, and given we're deep into the offseason, would anyone feel like following an association for 2K11?

If the story were to begin at the 2010-11 season, which team would you prefer following?

I think people will follow any interesting story regardless of the game. Good presentation and enjoyment of the game by the person telling the story is the key at the end of the day.

Replicating the Dallas Mavericks' run to the 2011 title might be interesting. The Bulls were obviously an up and coming as well, and there'd be an alternate history aspect to that, since they fell to the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.

I'm considering doing a real serious one with the draft classes. I tried one but turns out my picks kept leaving me

I actually run one with New York Knicks, but I'm too busy to create layouts etc. It would be interesting though.

Just one thing about 2k11 and edited rosters/draft classes : game crashes after few years and the savegame is useless.

I actually managed to lead Dallas to both 2011 (acquired Grant Hill instead of Stojakovic, glad I could give him a ring) and 2012 titles (Beaubois was a scoring machine), but wasn't able to make them win a chip the following years. I ended that run after finishing the 2021 season, but the Stories thread renewed my interest.

I also had my game crash by loading a 2018 draft class file, so I continued the game with generated rookies instead. Luckily, I saved the game before the crash. The previous draft classes (available at the 2K11 Downloads section - shameless plug) worked fine for me, but amusingly caused a few players like Austin Rivers and Donatas Motiejunas to become superstars.

Yep, that's right! I'm gonna try to rewrite history as I fix this mess of a Pistons team.

Knowing that you're a Bulls fan, wouldn't it be fun if Pistons-Bulls rivalry got reignited during this association game?
