Saved Games???

Postby Steve [The Spiderman] on Sat Sep 18, 2004 12:23 pm

Does anybody know if we will be able to save our games, because sometimes you aren't able to finish a game, or you don't have enough time? Please share some incite.

that would be GREAT. I mean what if you only have a few minutes to play? Or you don't know how long you have to play until somebody needs you for something? You could just save and not have to start all over. Madden 2005 has it!!!

I have to agree, that feature would be a life saver. Sometimes I may feel like sneaking in a quick game before work and I hate the thought of leaving my XBox on pause for hours so I end up playing a quarter or so and then turn the power off.

Problem is, and this always happens, I usually was doing real well in the game I quitted on. When I play it later? Seems like I can never get it going like the game prior, the whole time I'm thinking: "Damn, I was shooting/defending so well this morning! What happened?!?" :(

That is word for word what happens to me all the time. We need to make a strong push for this in Live 06.

I'm almost positive that they'll give us this wonderful feature the next go 'round.

You know, unless they confirmed that in-game saving won't be there, that is a very strong possibility. If we're able to sim quarter by quarter and it "saves" at say the third quarter and we're able to intervene, it should be possible that if we're playing up to the third quarter, we could "save" before starting the 4th... You brought up a good question, sirdribblealot, and this I think is a good possibility.

espn baseball i think had it to where you were able to save it before any top or botton of the inning.

if its top of the 3rd with 2 outs and you save it.. it loads up at the start of the 3rd... but if you save after the 3 outs and its botton of the 3rd, you start at the botton of the 3rd.

Maybe EA could have check points or save points.. after ever 2:30 minutes of play, you can play...

The only negative is that in the baseball game.. you could basically play inning for inning and play a "flawless" game. but thats the users fault.

As far as we know, it isn't in NBA Live 2005. I doubt it's something they'd rush in at the last minute. It would be a pleasant surprise if they did, but I'm not holding my breath.
