It's crazy how the internet has allowed companies to bait and switch people on games. They can take away good parts of the game or promise things for later and just not deliver.

Sometimes I feel they listen to the wrong feedback, or feedback that really only benefits one mode of play (in theory, at any rate). Trying to balance the gameplay for offline and online play has often left neither side entirely happy.
