okay, espn has better cyber faces.... can u end ur attention seeking posts now?
it's like ur LIVE's step child or something.
my PERSONAL opinion on which game is different then YOUR PERSONAL opinion... kinda analogous to cars or women...we all like different things. hey u may like the LAMBO while i like the MODENA, why the FREAK argue personal preferences?
so what if we hate ur game? go make new friends.

ok let me make this simple: ESPN pays these tools to come here and ram their espn rubbish down our throats. Make sense now?

ESPN lowered it's prices to 19.99 with expectations to boost sales, however, if this fails miserably, BYE BYE ESPN.
You know what, before these fans came in, I was thinking of buying ESPN basketball. But now, I don't feel like buying it just so that ESPN basketball along with its rotten fans can rot while their sales disintegrate!

the way i see it, is that I sorta agree with you. I like both games equally, but I close the door on espn when im here, at the NLSC forums, supporting this other game.
no flaming by me, by no means, even though you'll see me at diff. places talking about diff. games.

I played both last year and liked live better. The 3 previous years, NBA2K/ESPN.
Simply, I'm going to play the best basketball game out, and that's the way it should be. All of this "Live Sucks", "ESPN Sucks" is just dumb when these companies spend thier time to make these games.
It's great that two companies have good basketball games, that means both companies have to stay on thier A game, any slip-up could mean the end.

espn football lowered their prices, and still didnt beat out madden, expect the same results with the basketball games come out, EA is always on top
Thu Sep 16, 2004 6:09 am
yea, i believe that ea will come out on top, but if espn made comp games, i think this would help them out...

Maybe they want us to recognize ESPN because they might think that we have an "attitude" that nothing's better than Live, and that ESPNers wanted to prove us wrong.
Thu Sep 16, 2004 7:42 am
better espn does, the better the game gets. simple as that. if the game explodes and the sales go through the roof they will have a bigger budget which should translate into a better game.
anyway after i said that, i dont think this belongs in 2005 general issues either, its basicly about the people who play espn, nothing about live.

all of you are immature kids... so what if this is Live Forum. I dont mind gettin to know other stuffs as well. if you dont like ESPN? just simply dont read. ask yourself, is this a life threat to me? Of course not. so why trip?
one more thing. if this forums is to be 'iraq'. no difference from you simply hating on 'espn' which would be 'americans'.
or lets say that the forums is 'norh korea', and you only want to hear what your dictator have to say.
All of you are no dfferent from them... closed minded
Dont let anything... I mean 'Anything' make you pick side between mens...

Thank you. It's nice to be called rotten. You suck too.
And you better not hope for ESPN to go out of business, because it's THE COMPETITION that generates better basketball games every year.

you miss the entire reason people are upset. we dont care that he makes his espn posts, what we care about is he is doing it on the wrong forum.
also, i agree with glvoeguy. comp only makes us the winners. if espn goes out of buisness we lose cause without comp they can slap the same exact game out next year with updated rosters and nothing else and still sell it.

Most people are upset/irritated by the ESPN posts because:
a) We're being accused of being biased towards our favourite game when the same can be said for the people make the accusations
b) We're described as being stupid for having a different opinion or enjoying NBA Live
c) The posts are simply promoting/advertising the ESPN series over and over again. No matter what the content, the way some of those posts are made it's basically spamming - and often in the wrong section anyway.
d) A lot of the posts come off as being "we're trying to open your eyes" etc, which is always going to bother a group of people with established likes and dislikes. And like point a), our "blind devotion" is criticised by people who exhibit the same qualities.
It's like going to a forum for a sports team and posting that the team sucks and all its fans are stupid. It's not going to invite a warm welcome or much agreement.

all of you are immature kids...
no, were not. we can spell
North Korea and that makes us mature
so what if this is Live Forum. I dont mind gettin to know other stuffs as well. if you dont like ESPN? just simply dont read
if we prefer espn we would be in an espn message board.
ask yourself, is this a life threat to me?
it is to you.
Of course not. so why trip?
cause were supposed to be biased nbalive fans. thats what the espn drones seem to say.
one more thing. if this forums is to be 'iraq'. no difference from you simply hating on 'espn' which would be 'americans'.
are you that frank guy that posts in .org?
or lets say that the forums is 'norh korea', and you only want to hear what your dictator have to say.
cool
All of you are no dfferent from them... closed minded
you should have said "All of us"
Dont let anything... I mean 'Anything' make you pick side between mens...
And you better not hope for ESPN to go out of business, because it's THE COMPETITION that generates better basketball games every year.
so far your the only espn fan that has gained my respect

wow, so if all the threads in this forum are talking about the ESPN, we have to ignore all the threads. Is that right?
on the other hand, these ESPN guys (sho & ben) are not just starts new threads about ESPN. They replied other threads with full of ESPN contents, too.
How could we "don't read" the posts ?
can you tell me how ?
