Well, it is possible to get it running on a new PC, and we've got an archive of mods, some of which were released in recent years. Worth dusting off.

dosbox, game in prehistoric 3D, I'm pretty afraid to play this oldie

It's a Windows game, so it won't run under DOSBox. There are instructions here that'll help you get it running on a new machine, though: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=100812

this game is probably the second best basketball game after NBA 2K11. who would think of having hip hop hooray in a video game at 1999?
