i just now realized why i dont like replays. for example, when your watching a game they dont play the replay as soon as a play happens. they wait until they can slice it in. like after a foul or timeout or substitution. thats what live should start doing. it will make the gameplay experience a lot more realistic.

i think they should turn the damn replays off completely during online play
ive had too many online games crash to conn error because of that damn replay error
if u wanna sit around and watch replays u should go play the cpu
replays slow my game down,i could save at least 2 minutes of my life without them gotdamn replays
this really needs to be fixed

The option to turn automatic replays off has been there since the feature was first implemented in the NBA Live series (that would be NBA Live 97). I generally turn auto replays off when I play, but I agree with bestclubowner. In recent years the auto replays have occured too quickly (before a player has even landed after dunking, for example) and the multiple angle/rapidly switching angles/jumping back in the footage is a litle arcade-ish. Still, as I prefer to use Instant Replay when I want to see something again rather than the auto replays, it's a very small nitpick for me.

I've noticed that too. Yohance and I tried a Direct Connection game, but my connection (which is lousy) just couldn't handle too many automatic replays.

But talking of replays - what i saw on that fullgame preview movie. The replayes are much improved. The camera angles are now more realistic to what are in TV broadcasts. Not like in 2004 when camera was flyng between the legs to top of head ... giving this pointless closeup that didn't make any sense.

But for more realism they should show replayes when going to timeouts or when guater end and at halftime or end of game. The replayes should be about some kind of topic - I mean for example about key things about this game/quoter: steeals, passes, 3pts, fastbrakes, key players, turnovers and so on.
So when for example Kirilenko made good 3rd qtr - the replay should show all the baskets he made.

I don't know how much it is possible to program it because all that gameplay data must be stroed in memory then. Anyway it would be cool.

I totally agree with you! The auto replay happens too quickly, I was hoping this issue could be sloved this year but it still exists. Anyway i can turn that off and go instant replay.

What I was thinking was, for example you throw down a thunderous dunk, the other team might take their time taking out the ball (like walking and picking up the ball etc etc) and during that time they could show the replay. Also at the end of a quarter they could show a replay of something big that happened, like a steal which led to a nice dunk.
