Honestly man I don't know why but it does the trick.

I had a friend that when he moved on from Windows 8.1 to 10, 2K14 went from running smoothly to unplayable for him.

I spent a couple of hours disabling services to see where the problem lies but since Microsoft has gone batshit crazy on Windows 10 and at every update they keep changing user settings and even resetting registry keys changes users may have done to shove telemetry and other shady stuff down our throats,I tried disabling internet connection altogether and it worked like a charm.

Question.. im more of a retro kinda guy and was looking foward to some of maravich's Cfs such as Rick Brunson.. his Jerome kersey and i think he also made a Vinny Del Negro? maybe more? didnt notice any changes with those guys. still got 2k def face. Did he send you those CFs??

Also did Bird send u any of his retro stuff? Dornas or arenas??? just looking for new retro stuff

i had a problem with 2k14 and win10 too, it was most obvious during first year of win10. with last two versions it's running better. and it seems that really does some trick, but i still don't understand.

i know also one thing - putting same value in "cloth logical thread" in config.txt also helps. too bad there is not option there to turn of internet connection for good.

ha ha...no....I don't like modded scoreboards....it's not my thing...maybe I need to change compactibility to 7 or 8th....not the first time when I buy the game and it fucks with me and windows 10..

- no more mirror effect of 2k which I think is horrible and unreal.

So I was wondering, which of the cf's should I keep? Like whenever I try to combine the retro with the current files, some cf's overwrite each other so I was wondering what the correct order should be when installing or which cf I should keep. Unfortunately there are quite a lot of cf's that overwrite each other so I didn't have the time to check which is better. So I was hoping you could help me with this. I wouldn't call it an issue but just to be safe, I just want to ask which are better or which files you intended for us to keep or you kept in your game.

There is no doubt current files for current roster are the best but i will check this information and i will eliminate current cfs from retro cfs parts. For now simple paste cfs from current parts, it wont change anything in retro content because retro cfs arent conflicted with current png numbers, so you wont overwrite any retro cf with current.

Alright. Thanks for the tip! As far as the different cfs, I made a list. Not sure how much space would be saved by fixing this when downloading and it would be too much hassle for you to reupload the whole thing so I guess just telling us which files to keep would be the most ideal thing to do.

Quick question that I've been wanting to ask ever since, I noticed that there are a lot of cf's with the same ID on different parts, and even though they have the same filename or ID, they're different files judging by the size and date. So I was wondering, which of the cf's should I keep? Like whenever I try to combine the retro with the current files, some cf's overwrite each other so I was wondering what the correct order should be when installing or which cf I should keep. Unfortunately there are quite a lot of cf's that overwrite each other so I didn't have the time to check which is better. So I was hoping you could help me with this. I wouldn't call it an issue but just to be safe, I just want to ask which are better or which files you intended for us to keep or you kept in your game.

There is no doubt current files for current roster are the best but i will check this information and i will eliminate current cfs from retro cfs parts. For now simple paste cfs from current parts, it wont change anything in retro content because retro cfs arent conflicted with current png numbers, so you wont overwrite any retro cf with current.

Alright. Thanks for the tip! As far as the different cfs, I made a list. Not sure how much space would be saved by fixing this when downloading and it would be too much hassle for you to reupload the whole thing so I guess just telling us which files to keep would be the most ideal thing to do.
