It depends on your PC. Will you be able run NBA Live 2005 without any problems and do you have a dual analog gamepad? Also, do you like playing games on the PC? If so, you might want to invest in the PC version.

If you prefer console gaming, do not have a dual analog gamepad for the PC or a PC with the necessary specs, it might be better to get the Xbox version.

if you're a graphics man that loves just hanging out with a few friends and having a Live tournament, get it for XBox. If you're more of a user-cpu player that plays a lot of dynasty, and loves the patch get it for the cpu.

If your cpu is not techincally good (Worse or as worse as the nvidia tnt2 and a p3 550 something processor I'm on that ran 2004 fine) enough to give you what you deem as enjoyable graphics and framerates get it for Xbox.

If your PC can handle it, get PC. If not, then get xbox.

Use the Search, Luke, use the Search!

That being said, I'm still on the fence. We'll see how I feel when I'm done with the PC upgrade. :D

Hehe

Yea, if you got a good PC with a good video card then go PC, but if you dont, go console ....grab a beer.... and chill.

Now I'm thinking I might get it for Xbox to enjoy the awesome Xbox Live experience (well, it's been good in other games), and then get the PC version cheap when the rosters have been blown to bits by mid-season trades. I really like playing online much more than against the computer, and the PC online experience is mediocre at best, so that might be what makes me go over to the dark side (j/k!!!).

I wonder, though, could NLSC rosters be used in the Xbox version if one had a modded Xbox? (Disclaimer: I haven't modded mine and don't suggest that anybody should... except maybe to get NLSC rosters on the Xbox :D ). I don't see any reason for the roster file format to be any different across platforms so how hard could it be? Heck with the Music Mixer thingie I can transfer music files to the Xbox from my PC. Wouldn't it be nice if EA included something like that for NBA Live?

(<--- dream on)

As far as I know, the file formats are different and the NLSC roster (or any roster patch for the PC version) won't work with the Xbox version.
