I discovered Mods for 2k17 only a few days ago and really been looking forward for your release since then. I'm downloading right now![]()
From what I read youre really into basketball games and have a lot of experience. I just wanted to aks if you can recommend some slider setup for realistic 12min quarter games? In your video I saw that you just play on hof. Are you not using custom sliders?
Thanks again for hard work!
Hey, thanks for the support.
I start the sliders on HOF, and tweak a few things. In my opinion, it makes the game play better with less unnecessary frustration or interruption.
Tweak the following (Starting with HOF as default): Do the same for User and CPU:
Layup Success: 45
Inside Shot Success: 45
Shot Close: 45
Jump Shot Defense Strength (Gather): 25
Jump Shot Defense Strength (Release): 25
Body-up Sensitivity: 0
Ball Security: 65
Offensive Rebounding: 40
Defensive Rebounding: 65
Fatigue: 40
Fouls: All on 50
Making the shot defense gather/release at 25 causes less protected shots and less wild misses, making the game play more like real life. Body-up sensitivity at 0 doesn't mean there will be no bumping, it means there will be less unnecessary bumping, the bumping in this game is out of control. Fatigue at 40 is a MUST for this roster, These classic teams had guys that averaged 40 minutes a game, sometimes well over that.
If you decide to watch CPU vs CPU, I would recommend just watching on HOF, or the setting below that, because it seems that when shooting is 50 or above for the CPU (On any sliders) they shoot a far to high percentage from the field.
Either way, good luck!
