So I saw someone mention that the most recent patch messed up a few things in Cheat Engine in regards to hex editing. Did it impact changing team names etc?

For any one interested I released a roster with most of the hidden teams unlocked on steam
Roster is called "Unlocked hidden teams"

It's mainly for people who want to use these teams like fictional college teams from MyCareer or people who don't know how to unlock them with cheat engine.
I made them European team type ( my own preference)

Can you do a roster with all teams unlocked and all NBA type (including the euro teams)?

TBM, I thought European teams were unlocked already. You can use them in MyLeague and in Play now. What are you referring to?


Also good news I found a cool way to lock jersey textures kind of like with RED MC video below

Also found a manual process for converting old gen jerseys to new gen very accurately. I don't know if I will do a instructional guide or not.

Well the euro teams in the default roster play by Euroleague rules on play now. I think he was saying that it would be cool to have the unlocking of the teams that are not in it, but have the unlocked teams and euro teams set to NBA.

I didn't set them to NBA teams because I wanted to be able to use the previously hidden teams in MyLeague without issues. I set them all to regular NBA team type and I think that is what caused crashing in MyLeague for me before. I could make a roster with all those teams unhidden and changed to NBA team type, but I don't really use the PlayNow feature.

TBM the roster is released on steam if you want to try to switch them to NBA teams. Its called "Unlocked hidden teams"

Its in gooeyglobal.iff I believe. And I am not which archive its in. But you could check the manifest.

I know that the file itself needs to go into the "Shared" folder using the plugin to work.

I think gooeyglobal in 0D. The file name for loading screen is "image_loading_screen_2k17.9655dbb5c014ff16.dds.dds"

A new version has to be released after each patch. Im currently waiting for the updated to that works with the current patch. Still no idea how to buy full version.

I wish some expert had a look at RDAT files. Last gen it was so easy to change the CRC32 after hex editing rosters, but in current gen I am completely clueless about it.
