We need a Greg Tool, for editing in 3D...but i dont see Greg´s here..... =(

I will update my tool for editing court colors (even If I can't play 2k17)...honestly I'm not a big fan of one-texture court...but I got this is very modder-friendly....

I like the 1 texture courts for the classic team court conversions (like I did last year). Having that ability to make one text courts is of huge benefit for that purpose. I wouldn't be using them for current teams courts.

i get a windows error telling me the program has stopped working before it even starts. i can also only unzip the exe if i unzip the enture folder - i can't just unzip the exe by itself. maybe it was zipped up improperly?

Yeah getting Nash in is for sure a worthy effort.

When I was doing some skimming over ID's I did notice that Gerald Wallace and Danny Granger where gone along with Boozer. Did you happen to see those two by chance?

Update.
So I translated a lot of stuff with this tool and..... You do have to pay for most of the functionality.
Only free stuff you can do is change player name and nicknames, change quarter, end quarter/ end half, and update tendencies.
There is a lot of other stuff that is in the tool but you have to pay and I couldn't find a link to pay.

Heads up.

I started working on my fantasy draft roster last night (we have the tools for me to atleast get that completed). It will be a lot more complete than last year, and include all the hidden players (MyTeam players, other hidden players like Kurt Thomas/Stephen Jackson etc).

Once that is done, hopefully team cloning will be available (Im really hoping that new tool gives us that option). If so, Ill start creating the Ultimate Best Teams Roster which will include new classic teams like the 08-09 Lakers, 00-01 Kings, 05-06 Sixers, 10-11 Mavericks, 05-06 Nets, 92-93 Suns, 94-95 Rockets, 94-95 Pacers (If we can get Reggie Miller in there), etc.

I think having those two big/important rosters would help a lot. Also, I think doing something like a 07-08 roster (one of my favorite seasons) is more than a reasonable option.

Having Nash (whether someone creates him or we find a way to get him in from 2k16) should be at the top of the priority list. Ive tried everything with the tools we have to get him in there from 2K16... no luck. He's crucial to that Mavs team with Dirk, and to the 04-05 Suns.

Hey D, have you attempted extracting Nash's 2K16 face.iff and changing the ID # to another known working face # in 2K17? If so what are the results?

Example in case I"m not being clear.
Export face8124.iff out of 2k16 using Greg's tool.
Change face8124.iff to face2002.iff(Preferably A known working ID that isn't used)
Use limnono's extractor and see if the ID 2002 is now Nash.

I started working on this last night but I'm having to play catch up with my education of all this as this week is the first time I"ve done anything beyond use limnono's tool from last year.

Okay cool D, I'm very happy with how diligent you are when it comes to this. I guess we'll have to wait for Greg's tool to get Nash and the others back in. I'm aslo optimistic when it comes to the file compatibility. (Y)

Wow... look it's Steve Nash. The one and only, two time MVP. Multiple all star and future Hall of famer. I can totally recognise him, especially with that accurate hairstyle.

If you guys want to translate by holding your phone camera up to your monitor then just download google translate app.

It does instant translations and translates words in a photo also. That is how i have been translating.


Also i will look at 2k16 png files in a hex editor and compare with 2k17 to see what the differences are.
I think it is probably the way the 3d model is referenced. Kinda like when 2k12 cFs were invisible in 2k13 until we figured out how to convert them.
