NBA Action 17? Would anyone be interested?

Hey everyone reading this. Just was a little bored lately and thought I'd like to go back and play some 2k11, only it would be nice if it were updated to the upcoming season. I know there are updated files and projects lying around here and there, but there are a lot of no longer working download links, and ones that I have tried downloading get crashes. If anyone would be willing to help out update this game, let me know. I will likely post some previews of some things soon to try and build some kind of following, but until then stay tuned.

I was actually toying around with the idea of updating the game, to start getting into some more 2K modding. I've got a roster that's moved everyone who was in the league as of the 2011 season to where they are as of the end of last season. Obviously, ratings need to be updated, a lot of players need to be created, and so on and so forth, but maybe it's something that could be collaborated on.

Andrew, Do you reckon you could send me that? I started doing it myself but if someone has already done it that would help out I just feel like this game could really be revived if it were updated to current time.

It's kind of rough at the moment, but I was thinking of making it open source, so if it can help at all that'd be great. I'll take another look at it and see what kind of shape it's in, as it's been a few weeks since I worked on it, and I'd like to see what else I can do. I'll keep you posted.

Andrew, Alright that sounds good. I think if I were to update this game I would upload it all in small parts instead of it being all part of one big mod, that way other people can help out if they want to. No worries, I look forward to it

same, graphically 2k11 was the pinnacle of the old gen 2k games imo
