-=Kccitystar's 2004/05 Charlotte Bobcats Jersey=-

Tue Aug 31, 2004 5:08 am

I am ready to release the Bobcats uniforms later today or tomorrow. I took a couple things from King James' Bobcats jersey such as the texture on the left/right side of the jersey. So far I've fixed the colors and repositioned the numbers, as well as changing the font on the home/road jerseys. One roadblock I had though was repositioning the numbers on the front....they are too seperated.

I included a screenshot of the road uniform.....

...and the home uniform

not to take it out on just out but why is everyone making the away jerseys so red, they're supossed to be like a reddish orange

Tue Aug 31, 2004 5:25 am

I tried to get that orangy-red color but the game's lighting makes it look a bit more red than orange....I'll see if I can fix it though

honestly, i've tried too, it's basicly close enough, i got a better look at those jerseys the nba.com one look alot different than the one in gettyimags so no worries.....go job with em

could you possibly send me those numbers files?
i had a font close to it too and made a number file but i messed up the positioning, however i think my jerseys look a little better but thats may be because i have been patching (for nba live) longer

Tue Aug 31, 2004 1:16 pm

I'll be releasing them once I learn how the installation thingy works out in the Live world lol

Tue Aug 31, 2004 1:44 pm

if i remember right most mvp modders used gfxpack (or something like that) right? well it can also be used for live, though most use eazip which can be found in most patches that are released, or if you really cant find it for some reason i could always send it to you...

anyways eazips commands are simple. If you have the user place the chaway.fsh chaway_num.fsh chhome.fsh chhome_num.fsh in the main live directory, along with eazip and the batch you put the install commands in your install would look something like this

Code:
echo Kccitystar's Charlotte Bobcats Uniform Update.
echo.
echo Press any key to continue or ctrl+c to exit.
pause>nul

eazip -a render\xteam.viv chaway.fsh chaway_num.fsh chhome.fsh chhome_num.fsh
del render\xteam.viv.bak

echo Installation complete. Press any key to exit.
pause>nul
del chaway.fsh chaway_num.fsh chhome.fsh
del install.bat

the line "del render\xteam.viv.bak" is there because eazip always makes a backup of a .viv is edited....

other eazip commands include

eazip -d render\xteam.viv chaway.fsh (deletes chaway.fsh from xteam.viv)
eazip -e render\xteam.viv chaway.fsh (extracts chaway.fsh from xteam.viv)
eazip -n test.viv (creates a new .viv named test.viv)

there are others but those are the most frequently used..

anyways, i hope you find that somewhat usefull...

Hey, do you think you can send that over?
