what's up bruh.. can u update the link of 2012/2013 roster for nba live 2005.. cause the link is not working..i can only download (roster only) link.. not the whole patch v60

Now that we've completed our server move, I'll be fixing those links as soon as I can. I just have to figure out a couple of things with them first.

Just a heads up, I've fixed the link for the last release of the NLSC roster update (2013 season). Please note that it isn't updated at all, and this isn't an announcement of any new release, but the link has been down since we moved, and I've finally gotten around to fixing it.

It's therefore available for archive purposes, for anyone who wants to play with 2013 season rosters, or take it and use it as a base for a new update. If you do the latter, just be sure to give me some credit as the original author, as I have put a lot of work into the update over the years.

Hello guys i'm new of this site but i'm follow him since many years.
I bought all the last versions of Nba2k and i find it Always spectacular. But the gameplays is every year still complicated.
For this i remain a nostalgic of old NBA Lives in particular: 2003,2004,2006 and specially NBA LIVE 2005!:
The problem is that games are by now almost forgotten.
I loved the semplicity of this simulations.
Therefore i ask some guy more experienced than me if you can update these games and in particular their roosters.

Roster updates are big projects that take time I don't have these days, sorry.

My previous post not withstanding, how much interest is there these days in roster updates for NBA Live 2005?

Personally, I'd very much be interested !!

I've only stopped playing live 2005 shortly after the roster updates halted, but I've found it difficult to move onto nba 2k after nearly a decade of playing live, and live 15/16 are just too weak to be any fun after playing a few hours. I do miss playing live 2005.

As you may have seen here (or here), we're celebrating the modding community this month with March Modness! The event includes a contest for modders, but I'll also be marking the occasion by getting back into some modding myself. As I discussed in this week's Monday Tip-Off, I have a couple of projects that I've been working on whenever I can find the time, and a few other ideas I'd like to explore. With March Modness taking place, it seems like a good time to get stuck into those projects, and see about making some of those other ideas a reality as well.

The first thing I'm offering up is an NBA Live 18 Title Screen for NBA Live 2005-08. It's hosted in the NBA Live 08 section, but it's compatible with NBA Live 2005, NBA Live 06, and NBA Live 07 as well. It's nothing fancy, just a small mod to get things started.

not long ago I downloaded somebody's rooster for season 16/17 if i remember correctly and it sucks

Just a couple of quick updates. Following on from the earlier release of my NBA Live 18 Title Screen update from the game itself, it's another title screen based on the NBA Live 18 cover art featuring James Harden, and one based on the newly unveiled NBA Live 19 cover art featuring Joel Embiid. You'll find them in the NBA Live 08 section, but they can be used for NBA Live 2005, NBA Live 06, and NBA Live 07 as well. Just place the .big file in the sgsm folder!

This is a pack of custom blank portraits (aka No Portrait Available) to freshen up the presentation in your game. It was originally created for NBA Live 06, but will also work with NBA Live 2005, 07, and 08. The blank portraits are taken from NBA Live 95, 96, 98, 99, 2000, and 2001 PC.

2022 NBA Playoffs & Finals Logos for NBA Live 2005-08



This mod updates the NBA Playoffs and NBA Finals logos in NBA Live 2005-08 with their 2022 season designs. The Eastern and Western Conference Finals logos have also been replaced by the NBA Playoffs logo, since it's now used all the way through to the NBA Finals.
