How many games will the Warriors win?

The regular season is almost over, and the Golden State Warriors are closing in on 70 wins. At this point, it seems a safe bet they'll at least tie the Chicago Bulls' 72-10 mark, and indeed, most likely beat it. So...make your predictions! How many games do they win?

I'm going with 74-8.

Considering they have 5 home games left, they're going to beat it. But I'm going to say 71-11 because I'm one of those people.

I was goig to post about this. They have 7 losses right now, and it's possible they split their 2 games remaining with San Antonio and then take 1 more random loss from a team like Portland so I'd say 73-9

The Warriors are in awkward position to be honest. They looked runned out, tired as fuck. Draymonds screens we so lackadaisical it was funny to watch. I'm surprised half of his screens weren't called as illegal. Now that people know they can be beaten at home that's got to give the last few teams a massive confidence boost especially the Spurs.

I'm going with 72-10, equaling the record Chicago set

They have two games against the Spurs, Trailblazers and two with the Grizz, its quite a though one

Most are forgetting to give the Celtics credits due. They are 8th best team in the league this year and their perimeter/transition defense is top notch which gives 3 point shooters like Klay and Curry a lot of headache. Imagine them acquiring shot blocking defensive big man, the thought makes you cringe.

Anyways according to the schedule, the Warriors are playing against...
1) Blazers (13th)
2) Timberwolves (26th)
3) Spurs (2nd)
4) @ Grizzlies (21st)
5) @ Spurs (2nd)
6) Grizzlies (21st)

2 games are away and 2 games are against top 10 team even though it's the Spurs. I could see them going 5-1 and beating the Bulls record by 1.

That said, there will remain a bigger challenge ahead for the Warriors team if they really meant to join class of 96 Bulls team. The Bulls team picked up only 3 losses en route to their title that season. How the Warriors play in the playoffs will decide their fate.

As Pippen and Harper said 20 years ago, 70 wins doesn't mean a thing without the ring. It would be one of the all-time biggest choke jobs if the Warriors beat or equalled the Bulls' 72-10 record, or at least became the second team to win 70 wins, and then failed to win the championship. I believe they'll avoid such embarrassment, however.

Speaking of biggest choke job, suddenly 8th seed Denver came to my mind when they embarrassed historical Mavs team in the first round. Dunno why..

They're going to get the record and I'm rooting for them to do it. As a bulls fan, I'd be a bit saddened to see the 96 team surpassed. Records though are indeed meant to be broken and Im excited to see such an improbable one be broken

Wouldn't surprise me if the Warriors win the next four to lock up the record, though. I have a feeling the two games against the Spurs are going to be anti-climactic Golden State wins, similar to their first meeting.

They're not going to win all 4 games.... sorry Andrew. Even the Grizzlies are going to make it tough on them, they have been doing it to good teams even with an injured roster.

I earlier stated that there is no way they can lose the chance to beat the record because they had 5 home games left. They've lost the last 2 home games so far.... it isn't looking good in terms of record breaking. They've broken enough records this season, why not just rest so you're not fucked for the playoffs?
