Lakeshow7 wrote:Sorry maybe u have already posted about this...Do HD faces make this mod crashing during match? I have some made by Rockprince, i.e. 8MB Kobe...it is too much? Why crashing? (just curious)
Lakeshow7 wrote:So u say no mod matter, vanilla game itself can crash due to HD faces...i'll test bests one by one and in case game survives i'd go with CF in URB.
EDIT: Oh red ur last post just few seconds I sent my one, there's no way. Thanks for the replies guys.
Why people making these?

tbh lakers should trade every pick, even first.

Bringin to LA who? Things I 100% sure
-FIRE BYRON SCOTT and go for Thibo ---> solid D and new "blue collard" mentality
-Franchise must approach a long term strategy by a modern and reasonable basketball program (HC, assistants and roster, chosen and built one for others and viceversa) No more stupid marketing campaign as seen in last years (LAtoLA, farewell tour and so on...) and no more big deals without any future perspective (selling picks for a 40 years canadian guard for example)
-keep the young core intact (Russell ---> future star, combo with PG vision and on/off the ball scoring skills, natural baller; Clarkson ---> future solid starter, definitely can connect and exchange on the fly court mansions with DLo; Randle ---> future 18+10+3 type of guy, so rude but a double double digit...he needs a good "teacher" coach or staff to develop his mid and post game, improve his reading defense ability...he's too primitive in a pure basketball sense right now; Nance ---> solid bench player, elevate AI, will be a key player in case we'll go small ball during games)
-hope pick won't go to Phila (new asset, whatever could be)
Then we have to fill empty spots in SF and C positions...via draft (Ingram?) /FA (Batum? Whiteside?)
Comeback to glory will be a long term process...trade pick for principle just a speedy move without a clear target...imho
Next year we have to become a 35 wins team...realism and patience

This mod is AMAZING. I made a comment on the UBR forum that the UBR is the most complete, and the reason I say that is because I use the Earlier 80's, 70's and 60's teams. They are big part of what my brothers and I love about 2K14.
Certainly not an insult to the work done here, I am beyond impressed with everything you folks do. Including the global art work, and the crazy attention to detail.
Thanks for all you folks do...

1984-1985 is a perfect season to start the mod with because it's like the beginning of the golden era and a lot
of top players from the late seventies/early eighties are also still playing at a high level![]()
Every older season don't have enough competitive teams just like today's NBA.
But this is just my opinion.

the most complete mod on early 50's, 60's, 70's and 80' is mine for 2K13.
UBR is way behind right now. it needs to be updated.

I was just playing with youfor me complete(d) mean that every or almost every aspect is accurate. For you complete(d) mean something bigger.
Thx for your kind word about URBball, im very happy when i see advanced user is impressed. For me most important differences between UBR and URB are clear.
Im sure about my rosters, because all of them was made by one person. Im sure about ratings/tendencies/playbooks/ etc because all of them was made by one person. All rosters looks and works same way. IMO good way.
Problem with UBR is one, every roster was made by some1 else. All ratings/tendencies/playbooks or coaching profiles (for last two i doubt if it was ever touched) was made by some1 else. All rosters looks and works different way. Every roster, different idea, even now we can see how many people change things in the same roster.
Its hard to agree with most completed mod, after 4years i still see wrong skin tones, headless players, wrong jerseys numbers, wrong rotations, VERY inaccurate ratings/tendencies which causes non realistic stats, blank shoes, generic shoes or really non accurate shoes + a lot of poor quality courts+ imo convertion process from 2k12 went wrong, i saw a lot of bugs in 2k14 rosters.
This is my point of view, sry if i hurt somebody.

Ive asked Bliss numerous times for a few of his works, but he never helps the community unless they have something to trade. I never understood that, we are all working together to make these games the best they can be. I could have said "Oh, I wont release my arena music unless I get something good in trade".... I wouldn't have that in me.
It's guys like you, and Hawk, Monzki, Rich, etc etc that keep this community alive. Not those who have giant egos.
