FIBA 2K14 v4.1 has been released for everyone!

From now on, we'll be updating team rosters with each minor update from v4 to v5 (v4.1, v4.2, v4.3, etc.) until we completely update all teams in v5.0. The next objective is to add the other teams that played in the tournaments such as Venezuela, Tunisia, Chinese Taipei, etc. We have also added an NLSC Mirror for the Appdata Files for those that wish to download from NLSC instead of MediaFire.

I finally had the time to check the new version and I have to say I had a blast Congratulations and huge thanks to everyone who have been involved in this project . It has been an impressive journey from when the project has begun by dwadeflash03 up until now. It keeps getting better and better with every new version and I hope that the project will stay alive and continue evolving.

Fantastic job on the new jerseys, the courts, the new scoreboards, the new cyberfaces, the updated teams with accurate rotations, the new balls. The updated ratings as well make the game a lot more fun and realistic.


Minor issues that could help for an even better FIBA experience:

• stockalone1232 has already noted that Germany’s coach for the Eurobasket was Chris Fleming, I also noticed that Spain still has as coach Juan Antonio Orenga instead of Sergio Scariolo. Since you accompany coaches with cyberfaces I can assume that this kind of changes could be time-consuming so maybe you could just take care of the wrong colour on Orenga’s hands:


• I was also thinking you could set as home-court for the Euro teams the venue that they played their group stages matches:

Montpellier: France, Finland
Berlin: Germany, Serbia, Spain, Italy, Turkey
Zagreb: Croatia, Greece, Slovenia
Riga: Lithuania, Ukraine

It would be super fun as well if Dream Team and USA 11-12 had as home courts retroman’s courts:

• I know that players' ratings is a subjective matter and anyone can change them easily according to their point of view but i have to ask if you would be interested in feedback regarding these? For example Zoran Erceg is registered as a back-to-basket kind of player with a 3pt rating of 25 but he is in fact a face-up player shooting more threes than 2pt FGs during his whole career with very good percentages I might add. Teodosic is super fast in-game with DEFawareness of 85 but in fact he is below average athletically and usually lackluster in defense, especially in pick&roll defense he is disastrous.



I don't want to seem like I'm focusing on minor flaws of the project, the only reason that I am even referring to these trivial stuff is that I really love the work that you have done and I would like to help in a positive direction.

We also have plans to have Japan, Finland & Korea updated for the FIBA 2015 roster.

We will add Czech Republic, Latvia, Lebanon, Tunisia and Venezuela for a newly structured FIBA 2016 roster that will compromise of the teams already qualified for the Basketball Olympics in Rio 2016, as well as the teams participating in the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament this year, making it a total of 28 teams.

Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Lithuania, Nigeria, Spain, Venezuela, USA

Teams Participating in Olympic Qualifying Tournament:
Angola, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Iran, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lebanon, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Senegal, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey.

That leaves us with two slots for additional teams to fill up the 30-team slot for the newly structured FIBA 2016 roster that will participate in Association & MyCareer Mode. What teams do you want to see participating in the roster?

Remember that there were teams already in the roster that did not make it to the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament, such as:
Dominican Republic, Egypt, Finland, Germany, Korea, Slovenia and Ukraine.

Dirk played with the 2015 Germany roster and since the two extra teams to be selected don't have 2016 rosters, Dirk will still be active for Germany.
