Orlando Splash Dynasty
Introduction: One of the first teams that I liked, outside of my hometown Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs, was the Orlando Magic. They were fun. With Brian Hill at the helm and the likes of Shaq, Penny, 3D, Ho-Grant, and Nick Anderson, the Magic made their first finals appearance before being swept by the Houston Rockets (coincidentally, another team that I really liked at the time). Although not as nutty or varied in the teams that I enjoy watching, I’m still up for the new look Warriors and the same ol’ Spurs. After seeing the success that the Warriors have had with the long ball, I’ve wondered what it would be like to put together another potent group of shooters. Hence, this Orlando Magic franchise will be based off of a potent shooting combination – ideally JJ Redick and Kyle Korver or others (imagine Redd or Allen as a centerpiece with JJ Redick and Korver as role players!)
P.S. I'm using Word to format everything and then trying to move them to PDF. If anybody knows of a means of embedding PDFs into posts, or a better way of easily translating Word to Forum posts, then I'm all ears.

Hi Patient Readers,
I've had a bit of a setback. I kept my story on a flash drive that is now destroyed. It had almost two full seasons of story, and countless other notes for other seasons. I had pegged this past Sunday as my date to start posting at least once a week until the end of December.
The moral of the story for the TL;DR crowd is "don't be an idiot; back your stuff up." Specifics: For version control, I typically have only one version of a document at any one time, so anything I'm actively working on, including my primary job, any moonlighting gigs, and any other projects I take on are impacted by this loss. With little hope of recovery, I've had to piece together a few projects. Fortunately, I've found a ten-month old version of my story, and will have to fill in the gaps where I can.
It has been a long time since I've posted here, and the wait will have to be a bit longer. I will continue this story before too long. This is kind of a "bucket list" item for me, so I am committed to it -- however, it has been low on my list of priorities over the past few months. Thanks for your patience, and continue to be so.
A teaser of what's to come:
The story of Nuno Medina, a Uruguayan power forward in the NBA
The Rise and Fall of the Memphis Grizzlies
Garnett Ascends to Legendary Status
Coaching Changes Galore
Considering that I'm working off of scads of notes, and have to make up at least 30 Word pages worth of content, if there's anything else you'd like me to include, I'll see what I can do.
Best wishes,
Hg8Harrier

I think we've all been there. Few things in gaming are as frustrating as a lost or damaged save file. Commiserations!
